I would not recommend these tablets to anyone
I bought two of these tablets, and for the life I me I wish I had not. Nothing but trouble from the start with it not keeping a charge. I have replaced chargers even had a tablet replaced but the other one I want to slam up against a wall. It will not keep a charge and I am just tired of buying new chargers....Mind you this tablet was for my son who is 27 and wanted something to get on facebook he is a disabled adult so that might be for 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon, and after those 20 minutes it's dead....he really didn't use it much at all. HE put it in the top of his closet and said I'll give it to someone else. And the other one was for my 11 year old god baby who wanted somewhere to look at youtube video's well 1/2 way through a video it always dies so it doesn't get much use either $100 down the drain. I would not recommend these tablets to anyone. I bought them because of the limited use I knew they would get so I figured it would be fine, but even that didn't work. I guess I just need to find something better because they may work for someone else but they didn't for me.

What a bargain!
For the price I paid for this tablet ($38) I got a great deal. This tablet works great and even better then my more expensive tablet that is from another brand.I like how easy and fast it is to download apps. This tablet also comes with text to speech for the blind and visually impaired which is a huge plus (even has an interactive tutorial on how to use it). Some drawbacks, which is why I gave 4 stars, the cord for the charger is super short so if you want to use this tablet while it is charging then you will need to sit right next to an outlet. Also the batter life is so so. If you play games or watch videos then you will use up the battery power within two hours. If you just surf the internet then you can get about four or more hours before you have to recharge the battery.

Crashes even while sitting quietly with no apps installed :P
This is obviously as low-end a tab as you can get, and as such I had no expectations of using it as a full-featured android tab as others here have. That said, I was expecting that it would at least be able to do the one and only one thing I wanted from it: run Spotify in my living room. Nope. Spotify ran fine because it seems to run light and quick on every device I've tried it on, but still the tablet crashed a couple of times a day and then refused to restart. (A factory reset of the tablet and then leaving it on with NO apps installed produced the same results.) So, lesson learned: you don't get what you don't pay for.

Definitely read this before you buy...you need to "root" this tablet in order to use all the hardware in it...
OK, I'm not going to go into too much details about the tablet itself. I bought it for a 9 year old boy, and for HIM, it is GREAT!!! The performance is about as snappy as most current "galaxy" class smart phones (of course, this tablet does not make phone calls, but...)There is one warning I would post, not just about this specific tablet...but about any android device running 4.4 kitkat. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way...which is why I am posting this information here.Up until Android 4.3 (and earlier, like "jelly bean"), you could "root" a cell phone or tablet to give it some capabilities that were not allowed in an un-rooted device. Whether you "root" your android or not, it was totally up to you! For the most part, the androids worked fine with the standard firmware, so there was no real need to root. That apparently has changed with android 4.4 kitkat. Now you MUST root your android device if it is running android 4.4 kitkat. The reason is, the un-rooted version of android 4.4 kitkat does not allow you to use an external storage device, such as a microsdhc memory card. And of course, this tablet I am reviewing (like almost all android devices) has a slot for a microsdhc memory card. Only, if you do NOT root android 4.4 kitkat, then you can't use the included hardware!!!!And unfortunately, as this is not a big name tablet, there is no easy way to root it.This is a decent tablet, for the price. It really is! If it was running anything other than kitkat, I would not hesitate to recommend it. That's why I think a 3-star rating is fair. But I would not buy this specific tablet again. Instead, I would look for something running jelly bean (4.1, 4.2, 4.3) android instead of 4.4 kitkat. That way, the decision (to root or not to root) is up to the owner. If you buy this specific tablet, it is a shame that you HAVE to root it right away, just to get access to all the included hardware.

These are much better than the other $49 tablet being offered on Amazon.
We bought six of them for our business to give to clients with some of our business information on it, so we had to set up each one before we distributed them. We also purchased six white tablets from another vendor for the same price. All six of these blue tablets worked with no problem. We had to return four of the six from the other vendor who is currently selling on Amazon because they didn't work properly. These work and very good value for the price.

One Star
Couldn't get it to work. Sent it back. Bought for adult grandson who wanted a tablet. Probably not a good idea to buy a tablet online unless you are familiar with the product. I wasn't and it wasn't what he wanted. Would not do what he wanted a tablet for. No problem with return. Credited my credit card immediately.

More than worth the money
It's not an iPad but the price is definitely right. I am a school teacher and like having the students use their smartphones/tablets for research or to give quizzes (there are several apps and websites that let you do that.) However, some students don't have a phone/tablet, or their battery died, etc. I bought one of these tablets so that I can loan it out. It worked so well that I went ahead and ordered another one, and will probably get at least one more. They seem well built and much better than "generic" tablets I have seen in the past.Again, if you are expecting iPad quality, it's not here. But for under $50 these are a great value.
