This is a great tool if you are serious about improving your golf swing. Easily mounts to an alignment rod or club shaft. Comes with attachments to also clip to a bag (although I have not had to do this.) With a little practice you can produce usable video of your golf swing. Other vendors offer swing models on video that you can compare to your swing. This is a fun tool to own, easy to use, and well worth the price.

Cheap plastic but functional , three stars is for the price.

Works as advertised. Everything is plastic so it wont rust but also effects durability. The golf bag clip feels flimsy and only time will tell how long it will last. Fits and holds my s7 phone perfectly. Prefer this device over having my wife film me because the recording is far more stable. Nice velour bag keeps everything together. I like it.

This one does just what it says it does. It is a well designed, sturdy phone holder that clamps firmly on a club shaft or the fiberglass rod I got at Home Depot for $2.50. Punch it into the ground, the rod, not your phone, put in your phone, ( I have an SE Iphone). and use your phone's camera or an app ( I use the free version of Swing Profile) to see all the mistakes you are making. It may encourage you to give it up, or give you something to work on, up to you, but the product works. Highly recommended.

My past golf swing videos where always done by having one of my buddies hold my phone and video me for a few swings. With the Golf Holder I can now go the range and video, review, and take as much time as needed to correct swing flaws. I have been wanting something like this for years and recently found this on Amazon. High quality product that is worth the money - and FYI, you can use it to video other things like wildlife or kids sport games - you don't have to hold the phone!

I had an old iron shaft that I’ve attached this to providing a sturdy, on course, video/phone stand for recording my golf shots. The insert needed some mods at it is basically a rubber insert for a tiny alignment rod or too big for a shaft without the insert

Waste of money. Won’t even hold the weight of my iPhone. It just keeps sagging down until my phone is pointed at the floor. Bummer.

This is a great idea but failed in the real world application. Once you mount your camera with this on your alignment rod it will be very top heavy. The reason it failed for me was any slight breeze blowing makes the camera sway and you have to hold the rod which means I might as well be holding my phone in my hand.
