DollLabs DIY Dollhouse Kit with Led Lights and Furniture for Gift Set

My 12 year old daughter and I argued about the rating for this mini dollhouse. In the end we compromised on a 3.5 and here is why.My rating was to be 4 stars. This house is so small and very detailed. It was very challenging to her, a girl who is skilled at putting other dollhouses together. I like to see her challenged and this dollhouse did just that.My daughters rating was a 3. She stated the instructions were very difficult to understand. It took her 3 full days to put this dollhouse together and most of it was on figuring out the process herself (which is ok to make her think through processes). She also had issues with the lights. She could never end up getting them to work and some of the cords for the lights were so short they didn't even reach the battery.Overall, if you are looking for a challenge I think this dollhouse is perfect. You can see the details and the work that went into this dollhouse from my pictures. Our dollhouse measured 5" high x 5" wide x 7" long so you can tell how small this dollhouse actually is (hence "mini").*Also, I would make sure you have some sort of modeling glue on hand because this dollhouse does not come with glue*

For those who are just doing their first DIY miniature creation, I think that this would be the perfect room to start with. However, if you've done a few in the past you will probably be dissapointed because it's not enough of a challenge.Once again, this is PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS. These are not designed for small children to build. They are suitable for teens and adults.The only complaint that I have is that this company consistently sends all PAPER STENCILS IN CHINESE, but the directions are in English. You can figure the stencils out anyway because there are only a few pieces of fabric to work with.

I like this diy mini house. Everything was that I needed to build was all included, except glues.I bought this for my daughter's LOL surprise doll little sisters' house. It was suitable for mini dolls and so cute.

I'm still working on another kit, but I opened this one up - parts look well made, instructions and pictures all very clear. I look forward to putting this together.

I disliked that the boards were not put together. Every piece needs to be surfaced with a picture that is hard to separate.Not worth anything.

We just received this but evething is there and so far it is fairly easy to put together. It does take patience though.

Everything is provided, but instructions are almost non existent.
