ORE International3-Tier Metal Book Rack

EDIT: IT has MOVED with me three times. Now it's June 2020 and still a great part of my modern sitting room.I LOVE black metal and highly recommend this if you like modern and just need some extra room for books and I use the top to put other items.___________________________________________It is WELL worth the money, and in fact, I believe a much better deal than many double it's price.It is important to read the size. I read many of the reviews, as well as the specifications, and this is EXACTLY the size I wanted (it is for an angled attic loft).My friend's teenage son put together for me in about ten minutes. It seemed very straightforward, but it can be difficult for me to turn something hard enough and so I asked him to do it. Not only was everything right there, there was an extra screw just in case.It is VERY sturdy, fits in perfectly with most any décor, and while it is fairly small, just the added extra space I needed for books.The bonus is that the first two shelves easily handled the extra books I had with room to spare on the last tier. I have about 25 books on the top shelf (and most are hard backs) and about 20 on the second shelf and then am using the bottom for my filing box.GREAT PRICE, GREAT PRODUCT! Came in perfect order.

Nice, lightweight, easy to assemble. Just bolt the crossbars to the ends, snap in the shelves, and put on the feet. Shelves hold books up to 11 1/2" tall, not adjustable. They seem to be holding my heavy art books well. Much better than equivalent-size cheap particleboard stuff you can get at office supply stores.My only problem was one of the crossbars on one of them; it was not threaded at the factory, so the bolt would not screw in. I bought an appropriate sheet-metal screw at a hardware store and finished putting it together. Otherwise, fit and finish was very good.You'll get a box containing the left and right sides, a smaller box, and a bag containing 18 bolts (no extras), 4 plastic feet, and an allen wrench. The smaller box contains the shelves and crossbars. Upon opening it, I initially found only 5 crossbars; take out all the shelves and separate them to find the remaining crossbars in between. I initially thought they didn't pack all the crossbars and was ready to send it back, then took one more look.I don't know if Amazon kept their stock at 3 separate locations, but I received 3 separate shipments: 2 in huge boxes with lots of packing, and one posted using the shelving's own box. All 3 arrived on the same day.

Needed a small shelf for my home office that wouldn't take up too much room. Looked high and low in stores and could only find flimsy shelves that were way overpriced. I didn't want the cheap particle board stuff, either. I was skeptical given the price, but this shelf is a little workhorse! It's very sturdy and doesn't wobble at all! I have a mixture of books, baskets, and magazine holders, and it is fine. Not sure if you could load it up with super heavy books, but maybe! It came with NO directions, though! I was quite impressed with myself for figuring it out (I am not mechanically inclined!). This shelf could easily be spray painted another color if you'd like. If you are looking for a cheap yet functional and simple shelf, buy it!

Got this to hold our dnd books and it is so great that we are thinking of trying another and my brother-in-law said he was thinking of getting one. It's so easy to put together that our two year old daughter was able to help.

The box looked like it was dropped from about 10,000 feet directly onto my front porch. Ripped and mangled and was taped back together with about a roll and a half of packing tape. Probably was a return that someone else didn't want. No instructions at all, but all of the parts were there. I put it together hating it the entire time. As I was assembling it, I started to like it. Even with no instructions, it took me 15 minutes to assemble. After assembly, it looked pretty good. It seemed sturdy and kind of modern looking. I wish I would have ordered the 4 tier (because it is cheaper and also another shelf taller (explain that !!!!)), I am happy with this one and I really can't complain. (any more, that is......)

Or try to be by reading..and orgaizing the small collection of necessary books...for now, as I am starting to like Kindle...howeveR....books of paper will always have a place to be stored...on the BOOKSHELF!!!

I needed a bookcase to hold my ever-expanding collection of cookbooks, and after considerable shopping I selected this one. It arrived in two days (Amazon Prime) and was wrapped to a fare-thee-well in a heavy layer of bubble wrap. All the parts were present and in good condition. Assembly took about 15 minutes and did not require any tools beyond the small hex wrench in the package--at least once we got the package open! It was easy to assemble and light in weight. I loaded all my cookbooks onto the shelves and there's room to spare, and it seems to handle the weight easily. I'd recommend these for anyone who needs a utilitarian, reasonably attractive set of shelves.

Simple and fun to set up (because I'm a kinesthetic person); I went at a leisurely pace and it took a half hr or so to put together. There was one issue I had-- the part at the end of a pole where the screw fits into had slipped down the tube a couple inches, but I was able to correct the problem with a sensible approach (I wont rate this product lower for it though because it won't affect the product's durability and function ultimately).Convenient, good size, & practical for a college student & their stuff- such as binders, books, etc. Avg sized binders will have to go in slightly diagonal, but other than that, good fit. Last note, and probably obvious: the product may look charcoal in color but it is actually very black, for anyone who cares :).

So quick and easy to assemble. Impressed with the quality, stability and look of this shelf.
