Works as advertised
Works fine in my 2012 MacBook Pro (non-Retina). I bought two of these so I now have a Dual Core i7 laptop with 16GB RAM (and an SSD). Not noticeably slower than a much newer machine. I can allocate half the memory (8GB) to a VMWare virtual machine and still have plenty (8GB) left over for the Mac. VMWare running Windows 10 is acceptable to good. VMWare running Windows XP is faster than some real Windows PCs I used to own. The SSD probably has as much to do with it as the extra RAM.

Item as described and super fast shipping
The memory was recognized without problems by my MSI GT70-20C. The package arrived before 24 hours!!!!! I highly recommend this product, I have used this memory brand on this laptop for 5 years without any problems and I have put a lot of work load (a total of 4 week with a day off only) doing database processing and file generation simultaneously with images and alphanumeric data.

I bought this for an older MacBook
My son's MacBook only had 4 gig RAM and it was slow so I pulled out on stick and added this one. He says it speeded it up which is what I wanted it to do. Cheapest RAM I could find, I'll let you know how long it lasts.

Helped tremendously in upgrading memory
Needed more RAM for a laptop and this 8GB DDR3L fit perfectly with no issues on boot up. Laptop is working better now than the day I bought it.
