Upgraded 8GB to 16GB of ram on a Gateway DX 4860 / Win7
From prior years working with PCs, I was concerned about all the possible outcomes when it comes to memory changes. Confirmed that product replacement would work on my system with seller. Worked for me.
Updating my old Asus P8z77m PC for my son from 8gb to 32gb. Plugged this in and it just worked. Booted up first time and windows reports 32gb. He says his games load much faster.
