A nice power tool for your face
I was looking for a facial cleansing brush to replace a very old generic model of a more traditional design. I wasn't sure about the ergonomics of this, or the price, but I gave it a try while it was on sale. I ordered another a day after I got it. That's about as high a compliment as I can pay. My priorities were cleaning efficacy and build quality. If I'm going to go to the trouble of using a device, it better feel like it cleans better than using a washcloth or hands. This does. It's not quite as dramatic as a power toothbrush vs. manual, but it's close. The vibration power is very high (with three settings), but what makes the difference, and what is missing in cheaper brushes, is a high rotation angle as well. So it not only oscillates quickly, but moves through an appreciable arc as it does. Without that, I don't think any brush is likely to be very effective. The ergonomics are not hard to get used to, and the build quality is quite nice. It is all hard plastics, but very well put together, with tight seams and no give. It really does act and feel like a nice power tool. The shape and materials do make it a little slippery, but it's not bad. Again keeping with the power tool theme, this thing has a substantial Li battery - 1500 mAh according to the instructions. I have no reason to doubt that. I have yet to run down either brush (one at the sink, one in the shower) to the low battery warning, even after weeks of daily use. The charging stand uses contact "pogo" pins. That means fast charging (compared to wireless) but also means that you need to keep them dry and clean, and wipe the brush dry before placing it in the charging cradle. The charger stand is a little tipsy with the brush inserted, but takes up very little counter space. It's too soon for me to speak to durability, and I should mention that one brush came DOA, replaced promptly by Amazon. But it does have a 3 year warranty, and my interactions with the company give me some confidence they would honor it. A card included in the box promised a free brush head for registering it with them. Upon my doing so, I was surprised to receive an email from an actual employee with instructions on how to claim the offer. I know it was a person because I had to ask how to get a brush for each unit, and received prompt, helpful replies. And this was on a Sunday evening. The two free (after nominal shipping) brush heads came a week later. I've already written too much, but I thought that deserved a commendation. The "exfoliating" brushes I got free seem to differ from the standard ones in the box mostly in the tips not being flagged. They don't seem much more aggressive to me. I would not mind a stiffer option for even more scrubbing action. But the brush itself is great.

A good brush that does its job
This brush does a really good job in cleaning your face and getting rid of whiteheads. I suggest that once you get it you should charge it because it works better on full charge. It's very easy to use, doesn't hurt, and is quite relaxing. My only problem is that like Clarisonic the replacement heads are pretty pricey. If they were cheaper I'd think that people would be more interested in this. My other problem is that it doesn't fully cleanse your pores as some of my pores are still dirty and their deep cleansing head doesn't seem to fully clean my pores but that may be because of the facial cleanser I am using. All in all, a solid purchase for what you pay for.

honest review- not paid- I hope this is helpful.
Love it. This spin brush cleans better than any brush I have ever tried. It is not slow like other spin brushes or stall with pressure. The massage head is a treat I use it for head aches or massaging around my sinuses mostly & then all over my face because it feels so good (stronger than other face massage gadgets I have). I have tried loads of spin brushes/sonic brushes, silicone brushes and this one takes the cake. I am not from the company, this is an honest review. I don’t mean to bash any other brands but I have tried Olay, DDF revolve (I did love till this one because it started to slow/stall), Clarisonic, Spin for perfect skin, Foreo, Luna, another Real expensive spin brush with a uv light charging base (Toa), countless other top brands. I always reach for this one every day. The battery life is long. Trust me I can’t remember the last time I charged it. The only con is it is hard to turn off, it takes a couple extra pushes because it goes through modes/settings instead of turning off sometimes, but Honesty the brush is so amazing I don’t mind.

Update: Replacement Review---HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Clarisonic is now #2!!!
Our first unit did not work. Lets call it a one off. I'll say the first one probably was roughed up in shipping. We returned. I posted a scathing (somewhat unfair) review based on that first experience as opposed to reaching out to customer service. Which is my fault and not fair to Utilyze. From my review, Mary quickly addressed the situation and sent a replacement! We received it right before leaving for our winter vacation. We used it alongside my Clarisonic Aria for two weeks. Which should be noted the Aria is a 3 speed brush with a timer and washable drying stand. It is the best brush Clarisonic ever made and they discontinued it. The Utilyze in comparison is almost equal to it, and blows away the current Clarisonic brushes at 2X and 3X the price!! HERE IS WHY!! My wife prefers the Utilyze to the Clarisonic. She likes the style and feel of it in her hand and "the gentle thoroughness it washes away my make up". Then with a quick rinse she uses la prairie Purifying Cream Cleanser. She said the Utilyze works better with the la prairie cleanser than the Clarisonic. She said its gentler on her skin and does not "throw" as much product off her face. We both noticed that the Utilyze also uses less product as the Clarisonic. The Clarisonic has this void behind the brush that pulls a little product off the brush. Especially when you put the product on the brush. The Utilyze does NOT do that at all!! The quality and feel of the Utilyze handle is better than the newer Mia brushes and equal to the Aria. The only thing the Aria (no longer available) we like better is the charging base. The old Aria has a weighted wireless charging base. ONLY negative is the Utilyze base is easily tipped over and falls off the charger. Easily remedied by moving it out of the way. No big deal!! Because, we only had to charge it once in two weeks of daily/nightly use by both of us. We did use the massaging head to work in night serums/creams and found it to be as good as the Mia attachment (which is not included with the Mia). PS-You should be doing this with your night serums/moisturizers!!!! Conclusion: To get the same package/attachments and slightly LESS performing Clarisonic Mia will cost about $300!!?? Uodate: 2/23/21 Still using this brush. Still love it. Still works no issues! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this brush!! @allure_magazine Review this brush!!!!!

OK
Not as good as one that’s no longer made. Doesn’t fit hand as well, brush soft and bristles deform easily, and sonic feel is minimal, and would like less expensive replacement brushes.

The BEST Exfoliation!
First, I NEVER leave reviews, but I couldn't resist. Wow, this brush is absolutely amazing!!! I can't believe I've been using the cheap silicone versions for all these years. I'm an Amazon junkie, and I love DIY face masks and pretty much anything that gets my face silky smooth. This brush does the job X10. It's like a mini facial EVERY TIME! I love to exfoliate about 3-4 times a week because I shed skin like a snake, lol. This helps to get all the dead skin that may linger around. My toner pads are much cleaner as well. It was so simple to assemble and use. It comes with 3 speed/pressure settings and even 3 varying pulse settings, which is my favorite feature, FYI. This allows me to control how much I want each time. It's worth every penny. Please check my video to see how it works!

life expectancy...
I got my first one for around 70$. It died after 3 years and 10 days so out of warranty. The fact that I bought another one for 55$ speak for itself. Good product for cleaning purposes. Doesn't beat vibration to loosen clogged pores yet beats brushes/towels/cotton/wipes and such by a million miles. Electronics build quality was good, battery almost did not loose capacity after 3y and would go to the full 4.2V. That's where I expected to see some cost cutting. The big lie is the waterproofing claim, when I opened it the board was all crusty and oxidized. there are no proper seals it's just plastic joints layered to reduce water ingress. Screw holes also beg for water ingress. Keep it away from high humidity and don't splash it with water and you'll get your money's worth.
