If you want this to replace an older 3.5 or 2.5 inch magnetic drive (HDD ) or an existing smaller capacity SSD you may need a SATA to USB cable and download a copy of macrium reflect free software which has a 'cloning' feature. You plug this drive into a USB port and use the software to copy all the info and operating system from existing drive to this new drive. You can then just take out the old drive, fit the new drive and plug into the SATA ( the flat multi-pin one ) plug you pulled off old drive - if you are replacing a 3.5 inch drive there will also be a 4 pin 12 volt supply plug that was plugged into the old drive, you do not need this for the new drive because the 12 volts was for the motor in the larger drive. A 2.5 inch magnetic drive and this new SSD just use the 5 volts that comes in via the SATA multi-pin connector.

Does this hard drive come with a hard drive bracket?

Hi, No it doesn’t. It would normally be used to replace an existing Hard Drive & so fits into an existing shoe or bracket. No screws either. I hope that helps.

Does this work with a raspberry pi 4? What cable did you use to connect them? Aiming to use raspi as a server.

If your Raspberry Pi has a USB connection then I think this will work with it. You'll need a SATA to USB cable. I put the one I had into my laptop and used a SATA to USB to clone the data from my old drive to the new one. It works perfectly. I had the 2 Tb one but as you'll be connecting a serial connection, I would suggest a smaller capacity one.
