I wanted something simple to rejuvenate my knives, and this worked perfectly. Sharpening was simple and only took a few minutes per knife. Used this to sharpen all of my dozen or so high-end Shun kitchen knives in about 30 minutes. Have also used this to sharpen kitchen scissors and various cheap paring and steak knives, all with excellent results. Small; fits in a kitchen drawer. Not expensive. Easy to use. Good looking too. If you need to sharpen knives and scissors for your home use, well this will do the trick quite well. Highly recommended.
