This is by far the BEST non peroxide non ammonia permanent hair color I have ever used! I usually do not write reviews but I am now to help other gals out. If your on a tight budget and can't afford salons this is a great alternative. I'm 51 have heavy gray hairs, bought a brush from Sally's and started at roots then took each section and brushed the color through to my ends. Then combed my hair to the ends throughout the processing of 45 minutes. I'm absolutely astonished at the color, my scalp didn't burn or itch like the salon chemical. The color is really pretty!

I don’t normally do reviews, but I thought that I should on this one it did really cover gray very well although I feel like the color was more of a dark brown instead of a light brown. I just started using this because I’m really allergic to regular hair dye. It would make my head itches extremely bad after but with this one I can say it did itch a little bit, but nothing like regular hair dye. I would really recommend this hair dye, although go with a lighter color.

The description for this product on the Amazon website states that it does not contain any harsh chemicals. It also state that the product contains no peroxide. I bought it based on that information and just used it on my hair. It should be noted that although I bought the light brown color that it turned my hair black. I left it on for the time recommended in the instruction booklet, which was 45 minutes. After seeing how well it dyed my hair I got curious and did a more thorough reading of the ingredients on the bottom of the box. It contains sodium carbonate peroxide. This is a common ingredient in powdered-at- home permanent dyes. I cannot believe that this product advertises itself as no harsh chemicals. I will go back to my semi-permanent dyes, which although wash out within a month, have no ammonia or peroxides.

Tried a bunch of different coloring products and was concerned about damaging my hair or getting uneven or too dark results. This worked accurately, wasn’t too dark or unnatural looking. I would buy it again.

I've been using Indus Valley Natural Hair Color for 5 years around every 3 to 6 months. Not only does it cover my gray 100% but also makes my hair thicker and stronger! Plus it is super affordable. I refuse to go to a salon and pay them a large sum of my hard-earned money for hair color that damages my hair and scalp. Indus Valley is brilliant and absolute genius to offer up something natural at 1/4 of the price! My natural color is a dirty blonde and I like to switch it up seasonally by using their Dark Blonde, Medium Brown, and Light Brown. And I think I've used their Copper Blonde once. All colors gave me my desired look with no green, purple, or blue tint. In the natural sunlight, I do have a subtle shiny copper hue with each color that I love and get many compliments for. It's my opinion the reason is due to my own natural hair color, and I'm fine with that. Thank you, Amazon for presenting Indus Valley products!

Me llegó otro tono. Anteriormente ya pedí el producto, es de buena calidad y quedé muy satisfecha por la duración, la cobertura de canas y por la cantidad, que en mi caso, solo retoque raíces y me alcanzó para 4 aplicaciones. pero la segunda vez que lo solicité me llegó otro tono, similar al que pedí pero no exactamente el mismo :(

Beware friends. This product burned my scalp and huge yanks of my hair fell out. I have never had this happen with any other hair coloring. My first product review was rejected because They didn't like it.
