100 watts equivalent not as advertised
I should have done more reading before I bought these. I wanted a 100 watt equivalent LED bulb. I bought these advertised as 100 watt equivalent but noticed after I bought them that they are take 11 watts of power. Like I said, I have should have read more on other bulbs. Turns out it takes at least a 14 watt LED to be equal to a 100 watt light bulb. I have bought others in the past so I should have known better. Essentially what I have here now is bunch of 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs instead of 100 watts output lights that I wanted. Nothing wrong with the bulbs themselves, just not a 100 watt bulb. I have these bulbs lighting side by side with some previous 60 watt equivalent LEDs that I bought in the past and I virtually can't tell the difference between those and these supposed 100 watt bulbs. I have some true 14 watt 100 watt equivalent bulbs and I thought these would be the same brightness. They are not. Not knocking the bulbs themselves but if you want a 100 watt equivalent LED bulb, look for at least one rated at 14 watts and not 11 watts.

Best LED Bulbs Avaialble
I purchased 3 boxes of these lights and they all work great. The brightness is great and so is the 5000k daylight white balance. None of them buzz and they work both in regular fixtures and in enclosed ones as well (at least there is no warning to not use them in enclosed fixtures). They are almost the same size as a regular bulb, but are made of all plastic and are brighter then a regular 60 watt incandescent bulb. If any of these burn out in a short period, I will update this review, but since all the lights are working great, we are very happy with our purchase.Update 5 months later: After using these for a prolonged period of time I am sold on LED bulbs! None of these have burnt out yet, but the best thing about these lights is that after comparing our electric bill from the previous year, we are saving $50 month since switching to LED bulbs.

Fantastic light bulbs!
I recently moved into my new house and wanted to change the incandescent bulbs that made my place a contact yellow glow. I wasn't sure on the wattage nor the brand so I picked up these 60W daylight bulbs as well as the Philips 100W bulbs. I placed them side by side and while both were stunning, I felt the Shine Hai 60W bulbs where the ones for us. The Philips were nice as well just way too bright. I ended up buying four more boxes of the Shine Hai bulbs.Of all the things I've done to my house thus far, replacing the bulbs with these has made the biggest difference. It's phenomenal. So white, so clear, it just makes the house and countertops look great. I highly recommend these bulbs. They are a bit more expensive than traditional incandescents but with the energy savings you'll get over time and the fact they last forever basically you'll make your money back in no time. And even if you didn't, they look fantastic and well work it just for that!!

Not as claimed
Update: A couple days after I wrote my review I received a nice letter of apology and an offer of a full refund. Very good customer service.I agree with another reviewer. This does not look like a 100 watt equivalent. And one of the bulbs I have been using did not last 25,000 hours. Maybe 1,000 at the most. Very unhappy with that.

Great bulbs
I debated for a long time about going to LED bulbs. They are expensive, far more so than normal incandescent bulbs. That said I'm extremely happy with these. When they say daylight, they mean daylight. I have a 2x2 aka 4 car garage, and on a test I set one row of lights to these. In comparison to the compact fluorescent lamp bulbs I had in the garage, these LED's are literally like daylight. I will say you do not want to put these anywhere near eye level. You will see spots if you look at them. Very bright.

So far so good
So far so good. I'll update the review as time progresses and test with a lux meter I own to show scientific results and not just human emotional guesses. This is much brighter than my old 40 Watt fluorescent so I'd say the 60 Watt claim is accurate. I got the 5000K version and it's bright white for sure. My wife loves it because she says it's more realistic in comparison to the sun instead of a reddish hue of the typical 2700K bulbs.I used my baby thermometer (which has a setting for Surface Temperature and is very accurate) and it showed this bulb to be 82.6 degrees F after about 5 minutes. It was barely warm to the touch only and definitely not scolding hot. A typical 100 Watt spiral GE fluorescent bulb I had running for just 3 minutes showed a fluctuation of 104 degrees F to as high as 118 degrees F.

Bye-bye Halogen, Hello LED!
Two of my 6 halogen lights failed on me after years of loyal service so it was time for me to replace the lights and perhaps upgrade to a new technology (yes, I'm an old school late adopter). I gave Shine Hai LEDs a shot and I couldn't be happier:Pros:Bright spot light with just the right amount of softness. 3000K is great as you could on my picture of an artificial plant - soft shining spot light and a shadow behind my artificial plant. I think honestly these LEDs are slightly brighter than my old halogen. These lights produce light and a lot less heat. However, you could probably say the same about any LEDs.No buzz.Nice design.Cons:These are slightly longer than my old halogen bulbs as you could see on my photo of zoomed in ceiling light. My halogen bulbs did not surpass the glass/plastic ring but you could notice that my LEDs are just slightly bulging out. But not much noticeable thanks to an awesome design that Shine Hai did!

Spotlight...not bulb.
Definitely a spotlight. I didn't realize that when I purchased, but I am finding uses for them. Just know this isn't a regular LED bulb...it's a spotlight. It's probably in the description, but i missed it. Works really well though.
