It includes great attritional content to change the rules of the game without adding complexity. If you own the original board game, a couple of expansions will not be playable without reaching out to support. The new board includes some needed spaces for the expansions. I wouldn’t say this is an absolute necessity to the base game, but if you’ve played the game a lot and want to add some variety, this expansion is for you.
