Best Portable Elliptical
This was a item I compared to numerous other brands and had cancelled 4 other orders before I came across this unit. I wanted something very durable and smooth in operation that would hold up to daily use in the Winter months. I also wanted a personal elliptical that had a resonable stroke distance since I did not want to feel as if I was just exercising my ankles. I almost ordered their 2nd best unit but I decided on their pro model. I am so glad I ordered this one since it is everything I wanted from such a device with smooth movement to a decent 12" stoke distance. I also can already feel the benefits of this machine after only a week of use and the elastic resistance bands are actually building up my bicep strength as I use it to do curls and various other arm movements while I am stepping. I am an avid cyclist so this helps me with the upper body resistance work as well. This unit also has the added benefit of positioning the resistance bands on the front or on the rear since it is shod with attachment points on both ends. The other brand I seriously considered was the unit from SunnyDay but I could see that it used a roller on one end of the pedal and the stroke did not appear to be very long (7"?). I read reviews about noise and that is one thing I am sensitive to so I did not want to risk getting something that would start making a noise after a short period of use. The NiceDay unit is defintely quiet and the weight is not difficult to manage if I want to move it. It is relatively compact so it sits in my living room so I can use it while watching the news or streaming a movie. Great way to get in the reps which makes for the time to fly by. Regarding support, they are wonderful and responsive and they assisted me immdiately when asking about some options for the resistance bands. I was really impressed and also they note that support is very important to them and the warranty on this unit is a lifetime. That is YTBD, but I wont question that at this time I can only say that this is one of the best exercise machine purchases I have made and hope to use it for many years. I think it is the best unit available in the price point and I know that is a pretty bold statement but maybe someone will show me something better in time. I give this product a "A" rating and the same for their support. I highly recommend this unit for someone who wants to get a decent supplimental workout whether it is used in standing or sitting operation.

A Lifesaver for Senior Recovery - Niceday Under Desk Elliptical!
A Lifesaver for Senior Recovery - Niceday Under Desk Elliptical! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 stars) As a senior recovering from hip replacement surgery, I cannot express enough how much the Niceday Under Desk Elliptical has transformed my rehabilitation journey. From the moment it arrived at my doorstep, I knew this little marvel was going to be a game-changer, and it absolutely is! First and foremost, I must commend Niceday for delivering the elliptical fully assembled. As someone who is still getting back on their feet, the last thing I needed was the hassle of putting together complex machinery. Thanks to their thoughtful design, I was able to start using the elliptical right away, and it made the initial stages of my recovery seamless and stress-free. The most impressive feature for me is the whisper-quiet operation of this seated elliptical. Living in a peaceful neighborhood, it was important to me not to disturb my neighbors during my exercise sessions. With the Niceday Under Desk Elliptical, I can pedal away without a worry, as it glides smoothly and silently. This also allowed me to use it while watching TV or even during phone calls without any disturbances. The 8 adjustable resistance levels provided by this elliptical have been a godsend in my recovery journey. At the beginning of my rehab, I could start with the lowest resistance and gradually increase it as my strength improved. It has been instrumental in helping me rebuild muscle tone in my legs while being gentle on my healing hip. Another fantastic feature that pleasantly surprised me is the built-in Bluetooth connectivity. By connecting the elliptical to my smartphone, I can track my progress and set personalized goals for each session. It also motivated me to stay consistent and monitor my improvements over time, which has been incredibly rewarding. Being a senior, I was initially concerned about stability and comfort, but the Niceday Under Desk Elliptical exceeded my expectations. It is well-built, sturdy, and the wide, padded foot pedals make it comfortable to use for extended periods. Plus, it fits perfectly under my desk, so when I'm not using it, it stays out of the way, saving space in my home. In conclusion, if you're a senior recovering from hip replacement surgery or someone looking for a discreet, convenient, and effective way to exercise while seated, the Niceday Under Desk Elliptical is the perfect choice. It has been a crucial part of my recovery journey, helping me regain strength, mobility, and overall confidence in my physical abilities. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone in need of a top-notch seated exerciser. Thank you, Niceday, for creating such an exceptional product that has made a world of difference in my life!

Paid subscription needed, but great little machine
So, the machine arrived today. I was very excited to get it. (Happy Birthday to me!) It was packed very well, heavier than expected, doesn't slide on the carpet, quiet, no electric needed, works great, and all good so far. (4 stars, with one star reserved to see if it is durable) Except... It has Bluetooth to connect to my phone. I thought I could keep track of my progress by connecting to an app I already have (Fitbit, Strava, Runkeeper, etc.) but NO. It only connects to Zwift and Kinomap, both of which want money for a subscription after 14 days. Bluetooth won't even pair unless one of those apps is running so I can't save the workout data to any other app. I REFUSE to buy another subscription for a single piece of equipment. (down to 3 stars) Now I don't know if I even want to keep it the little machine. I just pushed it aside while I weigh out my options. It is such a shame because initially I really liked it, and didn't even give the Bluetooth connectivity a thought. I just feel cheated that connectivity is being held hostage. I mean, I can manually enter what I did in another app but why should I have to when the technology is right there being held for ransom? (down to 2 stars) The Bluetooth thing really should have been mentioned in the description. I feel as though standard connectivity was implied. I'm just angry the more I think about it. A free option should have been offered though some other service. I don't need training advice as I am not planning to run a marathon or take a century ride. I'm just trying to burn some extra calories while I work at my desk at home and I'd like to see my activity trend. (1 star!) Update: I have been using the machine under my desk while I work at home for about a month now. While I don't work up a sweat using it (I have it on very low resistance), it helps keep me focused during meetings and am easily logging miles without thinking about it. I started a spreadsheet to keep track of my activity since it doesn't connect to an app I use. I just log my time, miles, and calories before I reset the counter each morning. While not ideal, I am no longer as upset as I was and I must say that I do love the little thing. It is quiet and nobody hears me pedaling during calls. I raise my chair and adjustable height desk up a little higher, sit on the edge of my chair and I can work for hours without a break and I don't have that same "chained to my desk" feeling that I used to have. The company responded to my initial review and apologized for the connectivity issue. They said they would share my suggestions with the factory. While that doesn't connect my machine any better, I really like the fact that they responded and seem to take my review seriously. Having said all that, I am keeping it because I love it (and adding some stars back). It seems to be a very solid, quiet machine and is heavy enough to stay in place on my carpet floor. 10/03/23 Product is good. I use it everyday while i work at my desk and log of my time, distance, and calories from the previous day on a spreadsheet each morning. Its a great little machine even if i don't connect it to an online service.

an awesome little machine
I'am writing this review after owning this niceday under desk elliptical for around a month. it runs smooth and super quite, with a tv on you cant even tell it there. the build seems sturdy and the wheels it has allows moving it about much easier especially if you have mobility or pain issues. after using it for as long as I have I can say it does improve mobility and strength, I have a weak ankle from a severe sprain and after using this I notice a big difference in how it moves and fatigues much less now. I have noticed more muscle tone around my knees, thighs and lower buttocks. its easy to use and half the time if you're on your phone or watching tv you'll forget your even doing it. after using this along with a better diet and not eating after 11 pm I have lost 20+ pounds so it does help with that. also my mom has sciatica and she is able to use this with much less pain than other kinds of machines, she does get a little sore the day after but she usually uses it one day and rest the next and this allows her to get excercise she otherwise could not.

Great for sitting. Decent for standing
The machine is phenomenal. Quiet. Works well sitting and standing. The stride length (12.5") is great sitting but a bit small standing up. I am, however, very short (5'). So your results may vary. Still, this machine is clearly better than a lot of others with its longer stride length and heavy duty build. So I'm glad I paid the extra money for the longer stride machine with more resistance levels. It was easy to put together. I can use it under my desk and not worry about my cats being nearby like I would for a walking pad. Zero issues typing, writing, reading, or doing anything I need to while sitting or standing using it. It doesn't move around. My favorite gym workout was the elliptical, so this is perfect for me. I imagine this will basically be the only exercise equipment I've bought that I'll be consistent with because I know I love it. This exercise is easy for me to enjoy. I do wish there were also wheels on the other side for when I need to move it from the front instead of the rear. But it's good, otherwise. I have all the pieces. The instructions were easy to follow. It tracks the time and such well. I never believe the calorie counters on these things, but that's easy to figure out yourself. Haven't been using it long, but I'll update if I find any flaws or need to change my rating. But for now, 5/5.

If you have a problem with it, good luck getting any help!
The page on Amazon states: "3 months of unconditional return & exchange and a lifetime service." This is not true. I purchased two different Niceday under-the-desk ellipticals, both had issues, and both times I was told that I could NOT exchange them -- I would have to return them for a refund and purchase them again. Both times things needed to get escalated to a supervisor because the first representative would say that the stock for initial orders is separate from replacement ones and they don't have the option to exchange. Niceday pages shouldn't say that there are "3 months of unconditional return & exchange and a lifetime service" when Amazon is allegedly not set up to allow this to happen. After having things escalated, I was able to actually get replacements for both models I purchased. One of them the replacement has worked just fine. The other (this one) had the exact same problem as the initial one of that model and I gave up trying to get a replacement since it was pulling teeth the first two times. That said, I am still giving it three stars because it does have some features I really like, even though it doesn't check off all the boxes. Pros: - Option to do either sitting or standing - Price is decent for the overall quality of the product - Assembly was simple and straightforward, maybe 15 minutes tops - Sturdy construction that can accommodate bodies of many shapes and sizes - More relaxing than a full-size elliptical - Nonskid base feels stable and doesn't slide everywhere Cons: - Impossible to get customer support if needed - HEAVY! Having a handle doesn't make it easy to move. It's super heavy and clunky to move. - Loud! Consistently between each one I've gotten, they all make a scraping awkward sound either immediately or within an hour or two of use. It's not ear-piercing loud but definitely noticeable in a way that others might still hear it even if you're using headphones with your computer.

This elliptical is great!
I really like this seated elliptical. It arrived in pieces to assemble, but the instructions are not great to assemble it. It took about 30mins to assemble. However, once it was all together, it’s a well built piece of equipment. it works well. It is really smooth when you pedal. You glide (very smooth) and it is very quiet. It’s manual and you adjust the tension manually too. It is heavy though too, and might be a little larger than other seated under the desk ellipticals, but the sturdiness of this piece is great. I love the resistance bands on this too for your upper body. I highly recommend this elliptical to use in your work and/or home office!

Customer service is great. The tracker fails, resistance is lacking.
Update: Since my last review, the company reached out to me and took my concerns about the product. They tried assisting with the failed tracker to see if it was something I could fix manually. I was not able to do they gave me the option of getting a new peddler, refunding me for my purchase, or replacing the new tracker. I changed my rating simply because of their amazing customer service and their ability to care about the situation of their customer. I’ve had this device for a little over a week. Been using it daily during the week while I work. It’s been nice being able to get a little more exercise from my daily workouts. It’s small, convenient, and quiet. It’s easy to use. Also, you do get a little sweaty while using it which make me feel like it is actually giving me a good workout to increase the heart rate. The only downfall is though the resistance is at an “8” (the highest) it is lacking in tension. The fitness tracker that is attached to the elliptical that tells you how long you’ve been pedaling for, distance, calories burned, etc. stops working after a few uses. I’ve tried resetting the tracker, replacing the batteries, and uninstalling the application— with no luck. Which sucks because I want to be able to see a visual while I’m working out. I’m going to be returning it since I want something that is going to work without the hassle of trying to fix it every time I’m using the machine. Why spend the amount of money that the product is worth if I’m not getting what I’m paying for and not working as it should.
