This rug is okay for something to put outside your door and wipe your feet on, but if you put it inside, all it does is drain any water onto your floor. I was disappointed because I bought it as an indoor rug. After having water drain out from it onto my floor a few times, I've now put it outside and it's okay. I probably would not buy it again because all it does is wipe dirt off, it doesn't do anything about wetness, so while you may have gotten some dirt off your shoes, they will still be very wet when you come inside.

I ordered 2 of these mats, one for my back door and one for my front door. They’re great to look at and feel really nice against your feet. With the recent snow, they’ve served their purpose perfectly. Having two young children coming and going constantly, they’re perfect for trapping wet footprints and keeping them off my floor tiles, which means less cleaning (always a bonus for me!) Very happy customer, will be returning in the future

My initial review follows this comment. I've been using the doormat for about three weeks and it is still lovely and springy and nice to walk on but last night it rained for the first time. I can now see what the other reviewers mean. The mat absorbs water beautifully but the backing does not allow the water to escape through the bottom of the mat. When I stood on it this morning water rose around my feet! It does drain away when you lift it and prop it up on its end for half an hour but not nice when you tread n the waterlogged mat.I wanted a new mat for the step outside my back door. It wasn't what I expected - I didn't enlarge the image. However, so fat it's far better than the one it replaced. It's lovely and springy and the cat loves sitting on it. It hasn't rained yet so I don't know whether it holds the water, which I note is a criticism in other reviews. So far so good though.

This is a very good door mat but I wish the sizes were slightly wider to fit the normal standard sized door. I would purchase more, all our doors average measures is 82cms wide in the wall recess but the closest I could see were 75cms and a little deeper would be good option too but nothing to distract from the quality of this mat.The mat is soft and thick which makes more sense to wipe your feet on than rigid which just brush the surface. It also stays in place well which makes change from other mats. I cant comment on feature rating as too soon to judge since my purchase.Would highly recommend shame about the sizes though.

I have had this mat for approx 4 weeks. I have found that is it of good quality and as a barrier from outside dirt getting into the house it is first class. It is quite a weighty door mat, which is good as it remains in place even after the most intensive shoe wiping session. I have hosed it down a couple of times and it looks as good as new. An excellent mat which does the job it is made for, is easy cleaned and looks the part. Very happy with my purchase from NICOMAN Ltd.

This is a fabulous product. I’ve had a black one for some time now and it hasn’t faded at all - a quick blast with the power washer a few times a year and that keeps it looking good as new. They really are very easy to keep clean and they’re effective at cleaning your shoes too. I also think it looks rather nice.I have had to buy a replacement mat today because my partner chewed the first one up with the lawn mower... grrrr! I really believe it might have lasted forever otherwise. The new version is slightly different, less dense, which I think this is an improvement as any trapped water will evaporate quicker, plus it has a nice little border now too :-)Also very pleased with the service. Item was adequately packaged and the order was processed and delivered really quickly (even during coved-19 pandemic). So big thanks to Nathan, Stella and Jacky for making such a superb product. This highlightstrouble with reviewing a product within days of receipt - I can only speak of immmediate impression and not long term view. As such, it APPEARS TO BE very good, really grabs the shoe when wiping, which suggests that it is effective, of good quality, doesn't slide about, and was reasonably priced. Durability will be tested over the coming months, but I'm optimistic

Used this on my top step just outside the back door under the porch canopy. Looks good. Feels good underfeet. Feels durable and I think it will hold its look from new for a fairly long time. Very different from high street or DIY chain options. Holds water but not quite as much as a coir mat would. Dries quickly in sun. Proposing to buy another for a front door under cover in a more bold colour in future and probably for another rear hall door entrance once decorating of hall complete. That is how much I like this product and think it will last and last while doing the job its supposed to do. It seems pretty non slip too.
