Worked perfectly on 2010 Legacy
Perfect tool for the job, stood up to removal and re-assembly. Ready to use again. I have zero complaints about the quality of the bolts or the tool itself. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Grade 8 bolts included.

Makes my life much easier
I've done enough timing belt jobs on my Subarus (and Toyotas), always used the bump method to loosen the crank bolts, and put the transmission in gear to tighten up. But I ended up with a Subaru with an automatic transmission so took the plunge for this tool and for the cam shaft tool. For the price I really, really can't complain. Solid, worked beautifully.

Worked great
Needed this to do the timing belt on my daughters 2010 Subaru outback. Nobody had a tool to rent so I bought this and it worked perfectly. You just need to assemble it correctly, as others have said.

My pins that are in description never came with my tool...
I was irritated to find no bolts in my package.It states 2 different types of pins will be included, but the pins weren't even in my package.

Great tool that saves time.
This tool is needed to remove the front pulley. Even though it is used for just a few minutes in remove/install you'll be thankful you have it. Good quality and have let others borrow it to do their pulley work.

Great tool
Got it for my Subaru eh253 works great for crank and cam pulleys. They are hard to get off but this tool does the job just as good as the normal 23 brand. It’s thick durable comes with a spacer which I found the smaller screws worked for the cam pulley with the spacer.The crank pulley worked with the bigger boltsHappy wrenching friends !

A must for Subaru timing belt
Doing a Subaru timing belt or cam seals or other work under the front engine cover is not worth attempting without these tools. Makes a huge difference in how the work flows from start to finish. Good quality and have used multiple times now with no issues at all.
