Simply Leather Mould Remover/fungus killer spray cleaner (500ml)

I love this. It comes in a simple spray bottle. I’ve used it on leather furniture and virtually everything else that needs attention. It works after the second usage and smell lovely and light and lemony.

I have waited several months to review this product, as it takes a while for mildew to return. I treated all my leather handbags and shoes, many of which were badly affected. ( this problem was initially caused by drying washing indoors, and creating a humid atmosphere) Unlike everything that I have tried before this was easy to use, smells fine, and has completely cleared the mildew.

Despite the headline saying spray cleaner it does not come in a spray bottle, one needs to decant the content into a spray bottle or attach a spray head(not included) onto the bottle in order to use it as a spray

Product comes in plain white spray type bottle with only the name of the Company and description of its contents. I would have thought at the very least there would be some instructions for the various types of fabrics it is designed to clean. Considering you are unlikely to use the whole bottle at once and wish to store it for a future problem, it is unhelpful to have to access their product page in order to re-appraise yourself on what to do some months/years down the line. I am left with no alternative but to print off the instructions from the Amazon page: find a box in which to place the product and a copy of the instructions.... ALL because they don't seem to be able to print this on the darn bottle! Hence only three stars because as yet I don't even know if the stuff is going to do what it proclaims.

Bought this to stop recurring mould appearing on a leather bonnet strap across an old car bonnet. Completely saturated the belt in this stuff. Then wiped it off including mould and saturated leather again. I returned 3 days later and the mould was back again. Had absolutely no effect on mould. Water and a sponge would have done just as good a job.

Use on a leather sofa that had been against a wall

It did take some of the smell away but for me it did not do the whole job. The product is easy to use, hopefully after another use it will be better

Followed the instructions and it cleaned up a treat. Doesn’t leave any scent. My picture show before and after results
