Left led stops working on running light

This happened almost immediately after install with me. What I found was the red wire coming out of the led driver box was exposed at the connection. What I suspect is the exposed connector must have grounded out to a piece of metal on the car and caused I short. I contacted the manufacturer with hopes of purchasing the little box only. With these specific lights, they do not sell the item individually.

Could i replace bulbs with led ones?
