The detector is quite light, so you should be able to carry it easily. If you need it to be more compact the 3 piece stem can be disassembled. There is an after-market telescopic carbon fibre stem, the "Tele-Knox" available if you want it more compact, without the inconvenience of having to re-assemble it for use.

Is it possible to pair it with any bluetooth headphones?

It will pair with any BT low-latency APT headphones. The BT headphones are included in the package with the 800 model.
