I became aware of this product several years ago but never had the opportunity to try it, so when it looked as though I'd have to hone and re-ring our two-cylinder work horse I ordered three packets of the smaller engine Nano Energizer. The tractor was having starting difficulties, didn't like to run without the choke nearly fully closed, had a noticeable loss of power and rpms and the oil showed a quart or more over-full and smelled like gas. A compression test showed the rear cylinder to have 60 lbs. compression and the front cylinder had 80 lbs. Valves seemed fine so a preliminary diagnoses was made indicating that unburnt fuel was pushing by the rings and contaminating the crankcase oil. Preferring to do even a partial rebuild in the slow season I determined to try the oil additive rebuild if only to get 5 or 6 months work out of it until winter shop time. After an oil change I got her started, running rough, and warmed her up. I put about two gallons of fuel in the tank and one pack of the Nano Energizer down the oil filler tube and went to work with the backhoe until the fuel ran out. Left her overnight as the day was getting long already.First thing in the morning I ran another compression test. One hundred and twenty pounds in the rear cylinder and One nineteen and a half in the front cylinder! Had to re-adjust the fuel and air screws on the carburetor and was soon running at an idle or wide open with the choke fully open. Top speed and rpms are back where they should be and I'm not certain at all that I'll even need to bring her in the shop this winter. I can't testify as to the durability but the performance to date has lived up to all claims. Time will tell.

Got an abused Grom. Had someone break it down and patched a crack in the engine tank and then I cleaned it up. I put this in as soon as I rode it home from the mechanics. I could hear the change, feel it through the bike and handlebars, the vibration got smoother, and my fuel economy increased. I was hesitant with the price when there are other products much cheaper on the market with good reviews, but after reading the John Deere review I new this is what I had to try. Well worth they money! I really hope this lasts in the long run. After my next oil change will be the real test. I’ll try to remember to edit this then. I’ll definitely buy it again once I get the other bikes I’m working on up and ready. Might get some for my riding mower too. I’m super happy with this purchase.
