The paper quality is below par in the Indian edition as well as too small a print and congested layout for a cooking book. Unfortunately it is not returnable, and is too expensive at Rs 699 for what it is!

My copy is battered and stained from decades of use as THE go-to book when you've got a decent spice cupboard and some veggies you're not sure what to do with. Brilliant for vegetarians, and no nonsense, accessible cooking style which has helped me, over many years to develop confidence in different cooking styles and techniques.Madhur Jaffrey is a cooking goddess, and my family's life has been improved, deliciously, because of this book alone.Worth noting that there are some fascinating dishes from Armenia, from Indonesia, the caucasus as a whole as well as China, Japan and of course India. It's not solely Indian dishes.Happy cooking!
