For an all natural product the scent smells like an old ladys perfume that is insanely strong and artificial

Not as good as I thought

I actually didn’t buy this on amazon but I bought it based on other amazon reviews so I figured I’d post something here. I have dry, thin, curly-wavy hair and love the smell of coconut. I wanted a shampoo and conditioner set that smelled good and help moisturize my hair.First things first- this smells terrible. It is floral and perfumey and gross. Why would you do this to a natural coconut product? I will say the conditioner doesn’t smell bad like this but the shampoo is potently artificially fragrant.The day after I used this for the first time I got a haircut. My hair dresser immediately commented my hair looked really dry. I figured I’d give it a little longer before making a decision though.After 2 months of using both this and the conditioner on and off with other products (trying to fight the dryness) I can say this is really a terrible product. My hair is very dry after using this product and my scalp has started to get itchy (and even flakey! Gross!) from being dried out. I hate to just throw away a mostly full product but I just can’t stand it. I don’t know what type of hair people who liked this have but this is not hydrating at all for dryer or curly.

This is an amazing shampoo, I will absolutely buy it again.
