Perfect for museums
I love museums but have found myself avoiding them because after half an hour my legs are about to give out. I can hike 8 miles, but standing for long periods has become unbearable. So when my daughter asked if I wanted to go to Paris this summer, I knew that that days at the Louvre and other museums would be difficult if not impossible.. Since we plan on doing alot of walking from place to place, I wanted to find some kind of chair that would be small and light enough to carry around the city all day. This seat only weighs 13 oz (I weighed it myself) and is 13 inches long. It easily fits in my small day pack. It took a little practice to get the hang of attaching the seat to the frame, but now only takes seconds. The canvas seat is so comfortable and takes all the pressure off my legs. And unlike foldable camp stools which are low to the ground, this seat is high enough that reading and viewing museum displays while "sitting" isn't a problem. Plus it's easy to stand up and move to the next exhibit. At first I thought it was a little pricey, but after seeing the quality materials and workmanship, I'm convinced the Unipod was worth the investment. Now I'm really looking forward to my trip. And my daughter won't be rolling her eyes because I have to keep taking a break to go find a seat.

Seems to be good quality. I like the adjustable height. The current design does not accommodate man parts, well.

A PURCHASE YOU WON'T REGRET
I've bought my third stool. Light. Well made and a life saver at Disney World which doesn't allow portable chairs unless they're one legged. (Hint hint) It's worth every penny to not stand in line for HOURS

Broke the first time.
When this was delivered I set it up and loved it but the first time I took it outside and used it for real the seat broke right off the stand.
