Great replacement air filter, I bought this because I was tired of buying replacements for my 2013 F350. The prices are always bouncing up and down but now I just clean this one and I’m good to go. Once I put it on I felt a little bit of pep from my truck. The smaller element size allows the engine to breath better and also allows the sucking of air to be heard. It sounds great. The biggest issue I had was the packaging, it was shipped in a factory box but it was inside a bigger box. When I opened it up it was loose inside the bigger box. I’m glad I didn’t order anything heavy with that order or it might have been crushed. Bottom line, if you’re tired of finding the lowest price for replacement air filters then do yourself a favor and spend a little more now and save a lot later. K&N always delivers and this filter is a nice cheap alternative to factory air filters.

I've used K&N filters on my Ford diesel trucks for years. I had about 50,000 miles on the one before this purchase and thought the truck was getting sluggish. I changed the air filter and problem solved--made a huge difference, The filter I took out was heavy with dirt it had trapped--did exactly what it was designed to do. I live in a dusty environment in West Texas and good air filtration is a necessity in any vehicle--K&N is the best I've found.

The product fit perfectly and the entire change out took less than 15 minutes (including cleaning out the filter well). As for the performance of the product, I don't get caught up the in stats for horsepower on air filters, there are other products designed for HP increase.. The product clearly allows for increased airflow and as a result, the engine breaths better. Slight increase in the engine sound (i.e. turbo) but, nothing dramatic.As for the value of the product, K&N has pushed the envelope a bit on the price of this item. I believe it is a bit over priced but, it did not deter me in this instance. I know this product will work well and I know I will not have to change it again...just clean it periodically.

Fuel mileage actually dropped from original equipment filter. Definitely not worth the money

It's a K&N air filter, so it pretty much automatically gets a 5 star rating. I have yet to install a K&N into anything and have it not fit exactly as it should. I have pretty much decided that, over the years, K&N filters have improved my average fuel economy about 3 to 6 percent, which, over time, easily pays for the filters. Washing them is a bit messy, and you need to let them dry before carefully re-oiling them, but you shouldn't have to do that more than every 40 to 60 thousand miles, unless you live in a dustbowl.

I have used K&N products before and knew that they work. I purchased this for my 2016 Ford F 350 6.7 diesel, and I am amazed! Not only has performance been increased but mileage went from 15.4 to 17.5 MPG not towing. this is nothing short of spectacular. I only wish that there was a way to get K&N to start producing fuel systems to work with their filters.
