Interstate Pneumatics VFP440C 2-Position 3-Port Foot Pedal Air Control Valve 1/4 Inch NPT with Protective Shield

1 input, 1 CONSTANT OUPUT, 1 Opposite Output. Bought this product to have both outputs blow when pedal pressed. However, one output has Constant airflow, but nowhere is this crucial product description noted. Contacted Customer support, was contacted same day told the following: "This foot pedal is designed to have a constant flow. The constant flow either creates a constantly open or closed valve, and the foot pedal interrupts that to create a temporary closed or open valve depending on the setup/usage of the pedal."I'm sure the product works well for other applications, but poor product description has wasted time of all involved, and there is no way to modify the pedal alone to get the desired effect. The workaround has been to order two pedals and use the internal plastic relief valves to make one pedal as it should be. The second pedal will just be constant air on.Updated to 4 stars, they couldn't help me, but they did respond via email until I was able to figure out how to make it work.

Okay, it took me about 3 minutes to figure out which port does what so I could set this up to use on my sand blasting cabinet, but what about the weekend tool/hobbyist type guy? Some directions might be nice.....Also, loose the foot guard, with large boots and steel toes, it just gets in the way. Mounted mine to a piece of 3/4 inch plywood scrap and some non-skid so it didn't keep sliding out from under my boot.

BAD product support! I tried to get SOMEONE to support me on this purchase and no one answered the phone for 3 days! Only got recordings. Asking for my product number etc or simply disconnecting. My needs were simple - I wanted to connect this to a die grinder to act as a foor pedal on/off switch. Instead when connected it simply blew aire out the remaining ports without the foot pedal depressed. I FINALLY figured out that you need to stop outflow on the second output port to get this to work. No instructions, no support. Two wasted days to figure this out myself. Once done, it did work and seems a good unit. The shroud needed to be removed as this blocked the port connectors. Less than impressed.

Works fine. For the price I think it should come with a blind plug for if the pedal is used as a simple on/off and not to change between two outlets.

Fit my Tormach 700M milling machine perfect with some extra line installed.

Working perfectly. None of ports are labeled. Took all of 5 minutes to figure it out. No instructions either.
