Erotic drama from director Tinto Brass. Marta (Anna Jimskaia) is a beautiful young Venetian woman dissatisfied with her writer husband Dario (Max Parodi), who is too preoccupied with his work to notice his wife's needs. When she meets a tall, dark stranger in a museum, her frustration turns to an adulterous passion.

I like it and fantastic
Monamour is a fantastic film it makes you recall things that most women experience in their daily life. It gives some men experiece how to deal with work and home life. When I watched it it makes me if assertive when dealng with women.Unlike Voyear, Ma mere, they are just like Private. although these have a bit sequence stories but to be honest I didn't enjoyed them like Monamour and Insatiable Diary of Sex.

Beautifully filmed, intriguing and erotic
Recently married but frustrated at the lack of passion her husband now shows her, the wife (played by Anna Jimskaia) seeks adventure with another man, and we aren't talking about a trip to the seaside to have an ice cream either. The sex scenes are bawdy, to use one word, but filmed artistically and with an interesting, querky soundtrack. Not for the prudish, so don't consider viewing this if of a "delicate" demeanour.Ms Jimskaia certainly has a Rubenesque figure, and the settings ooze Italian culture from every pore.

ARTISTIC PORN?
Well thats what I thought I was buying anyway. Some French sub-titled films really are worth watching. Not this one! Very poor scripting, cheesy story line and the acting is akin to the Dawn & French version of Crossroads. Check out the length of the male member in the wood scene - is that a real one?!Frankly my overall impression was that this was an upmarket version of the usual, 'below the table' cheap porn churned out from east europe, all in the name of deep and meaningful Art! No, not this time.

Interesting video
Delivery was quick and the quality was as desribed. The content was perhaps a bit slow but good nevertheless. I enjoyed watching it and would recommend

As Expected.
The images are grainy and the sound tinny, but this is about what you'd expect from early Tinto Brass, before he descended into the vulgar world of orifices and prosthetic devices. It's a trippy 1960s movie about interracial romance, a drama without let up. There's a good deal of fashionable nouvelle vague editing and psychedelic imagery but the chief narrative is innovative for its time, even if not more than usually well done. Worth a look, but not worth a cornucopia of praise.

porn yes, artistic merit no!
Amazon's description of this film is brief and evasive, and undestandably so, after all how many people would buy a film if it were described as a cheap execise in puerile male chauvenistic fanatasy. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind nudity and overt sexuality, I quite like '9 Songs', but this is boring. The storyline is riddled with improbabilities, the dialogue belongs in a TV soap drama and the cast are notable only for their lack of inhibitions. Once viewed is once too often.
