Minwax 304380000 Water Based Wood-Sheen Running Stain & Finsh, 12 ounce , Plantation Walnut

Been using it for years. Can even use on other surfaces besides wood. Love it

I had wood kitchen chairs that the finish was off in certain places. I sanded them and put one coat of the Minwax. They look great. I also did the same on a floor molding. It is easy to use and dries quickly.

I have used this for years and now it is hard to find!!! Thanks Amazon!!

I had used the oil based minwax wood for years and it was fantastic. I recently tried to order it again but could only get the water based product. It doesn't work nearly as good as the oil based, there is a huge difference! That being said the water based product did even out some of the blemishes and dings on the wood door I used it on but if it had been the oil based product, it would have looked almost new instead of just "ok" . I'm not sure why they discontinued the oil based product but I sure wish they'd bring it back.

I've used this to stain the inside of my Real Good Toys Painted Lady Dollhouse and it's lasted the entire three stories! Perfect!

I used it to 'refurb' some trim in our bathroom. Yes, it is not a super water resistant finish, but the oak trim was looking pretty ratty and I needed 'something' to help. After doing it and showing it to SWMBO (joke there), it was approved. I am not the best handyman, but this stuff is quick and easy, looks pretty good.One of my needs was it needed to be low VOC, and not need several steps. So I sanded the worst off the old, and put on a couple of coats just waiting a few minutes to let the first one start to 'set' before the second. It turned out very nicely. I think some more will be in the offing before long :)
