This digital microscope works great for looking for errors on coins. The magnification is impressive, and the adjustable LED lights make it very easy to see fine details that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye. It has been a perfect addition to my coin collection supplies. Highly recommended for anyone interested in numismatics

I was building this board and needed a schematic from Gikfun as they supplied me with a schematic. They sent it to my e-mail and I took a screenshot to make the drawing bigger with my iPhone. I now can build this kit with no problem. I also bought a digital scope to facilitate the small traces for soldering from Amazon to do closeup work. I provided me with a challenge to further my SMD technique. Great kit!!!

Very inexpensive digital display microscope. After battery was charged worked exactly as described. Magnification as described. Easily operated and very functional. Display is very clear. My grandchildren loved it and even younger ones found it easy to use. As inexpensive as it is, I should have bought several so grandchildren wouldn’t tussle over who gets to use it. Highly recommended. Very inexpensive. Rugged enough that several children grabbing it didn’t break anything.

I've just started getting into coin collecting and wanted a microscope for looking at them. Definitely not something that I've looked into any time in the last 20+ years lol. So was definitely surprised at all the options out there now and spent a lot of time researching different ones. With it being the first one I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case I didn't like it. This one's price seemed very reasonable but even had a coupon for even more off which was a definite bonus. Shipped fast and was surprised how easy it was to put together and start using right away. The quality of pictures that it takes is very impressive. The magnification that this little suckers got is amazing. Then throw in the fact it is extremely light but sturdy so you can easily take it anywhere with you! The only thing I wish it had were clips to hold the coins in place but after spending almost 4x what I spent on this one for a much upgraded microscope that did, I can say I returned it in less than 48 hours and would choose this one again and again!

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, especially for the relatively low price. I don't have many original thoughts to add to the reviews already present, but I did want to share some proper measurements and a picture I haven't seen from anyone else: - At maximum zoom, the viewing area is approximately 1.6mm by 0.9mm (nice round numbers for 16:9 output eh?). - That gives a *theoretical* pixel scale of approximately 0.8 microns - The practical limit of resolving power is perhaps 5 microns or a little finer. My biggest gripes: - The vertical rod supporting the camera and serving as the focusing mechanism is WAY too wobbly for using the buttons anywhere near maximum zoom. They're so stiff that you've got to brace the display with your other hand, introducing vibration and moving the focal plane off-target. - The automatic gain control (AGC) in combination with the adjustable LEDs means that you're practically only adjusting the per-frame exposure time and level of visible noise. I'd really prefer they had fixed the gain at 0 and used only automatic exposure control instead. - The effect of the AGC is that it's almost impossible to avoid overexposing reflective surfaces unless you turn the LEDs down so far that the image becomes unacceptably noisy.

0.5mmの対象物がモニター上で約5cm程度 100倍程度が限界で、表記にあるような倍率1000倍には到底及ばない。 せめて表記の半分程度は無いと騙されたと判断するでしょう。

Adjust by moving the screen on rod up and down, will get excellent good image. Then screw it there. Otherwise it will not work for you. Give good resolution, if you act on my advise.. Otherwise you will think it is not working. Manifacturer should add a video, how to adjust using the rod. It's sail will tripled
