I got this as a xmas gift for a friend who loves the Harry Potter books and movies. This is a small, wooden, music box with beautiful carvings and a nice finish. It looks nice sitting on her desk and when she wants to relax and have a little mental break she winds it up and plays the Harry Potter theme. A unique and personal gift that they (or you if buying for yourself) will love.

I really like this little music box. The sound quality is exactly what I expected and would give it away if I had purchased it for that purpose. The hinges are not flimsy and work smoothly, the wood is covered in a satin varnish. The cut out on the lid is smooth without any burs. The front clasp feels fragile so I would be careful with it but when closed, if I turn the box on its side, the clasp stays closed. The only thing that would have made me more impressed, is if the music would turn off when closing the lid. On this music box, you have to wait for the music mechanism to wind down for it to turn off/stop playing.

Perfect small size and the music is loud enough to hear

I like the details of the box ,, fits in my pocket if I want to take it with me,good construction just had to tighten the music component a little. Performing exactly like it should, when open a candle behind it puts a nice shadow on the wall

Gave it as a gift and they loved it. The quality of the wood is not top notch, but if you handle it with care it should last. The sound is loud and clear and the wood casing makes it look premium.
