I received a BassPal Shower Speaker from my kids for use on my pool deck. I loved it so much I have now purchased 2 more as gifts.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this because I love to listen to music when I kayak and EVERYTHING gets wet in a kayak. I thought the ability to receive FM was a cool option I hadn't seen on other speakers (without getting super expensive) It is a real sturdy little speaker and seems to be well made. The sound is pretty loud for such a small speaker tho I first thought it wasn't when I hooked it up to my laptop and was playing Amazon music because it was running through 3 separate volume controls (Amazon music, the laptop, and its own) once I got them all turned up the volume VERY loud. I turned it down and listened to music with it all day (8+hours) and the speaker still hasn't gone flat on the battery. I don't really get the light bit, and it didn't make me want to "enjoy a funny bath", but that wasn't the reason I bought it (and they can be turned off) but maybe if you had it bobbing around in a hot tub the lights may be cool. The suction cup is VERY "sucky" and when I stuck it to my shower I had a hard time getting it off and actually pulled the radio off the cup instead of pulling the cup off the shower (but the cup slipped back on so all was well in the end). The controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you have the "long push / short push" straight, you can control it easily. The FM radio was easy enough to figure out, and it did pick up several stations, and was pretty clear especially considering I live in the mountains and don't get good reception usually, but not being able to see where you were on the "dial" was a bummer, but not having any type of screen makes it super waterproof too, so its a loss worth having. I think this will be my camping speaker as well as my kayak speaker now as I'm sure it is rugged enough to survive. Only enough when you connect to it via bluetooth it says "Paired" and when you DISCONNECT it from a device it says "Paired".... I tripped out on that for a couple of seconds then realized that it had in fact disconnected. I'm not sure whats up with that but it really isn't a big deal, I just found it funny. All in all I think its a great little speaker and when I bought it there was a coupon so I paid about $25 for it and I think thats about right.

This is a good little speaker! Sound quality is pretty good, offers a wholesome sound. The speaker is indeed waterproof, although it’s kind of annoying that water can sit inside the speaker and muddle the sound. I had to tap water out of it every couple of minutes during use. The suction is okay, just doesn’t stick to various surfaces. The surface has to be completely smooth for it to stick well. I bought two of these for kayaking in different colors and the speakers don’t work quite the same. On the blue one (mine), volume is controlled by clicking the volume/seek buttons once, and the song is changed by holding. On the gray one, it’s the opposite. I did not feel confident suctioning the speaker to my kayak. I only found one place on the very front it would stick to, and I didn’t want it to be that far away in case I needed to grab it, and I wasn’t sure how long the suction would hold on an already wet surface. It does float, which was really nice. The battery life is very good with the volume at nearly maximum, around 7 hours. This was a good buy and rivaled a $100 speaker from across the river!

This is an updated review. After just 2 months of use my speaker has stopped working out of the blue. I can’t think of anything that went wrong. I didn’t drop it and I don’t even put it in water although it’s waterproof. I am very disappointed because I loved this speaker.Old review:The only problem I really had was That it does not stay on the wall very long with the suction cup. I've tried many different surfaces many times and the same thing happens, it stays on the wall for about 3 minutes and then falls off. I have tile on my shower walls and on every occasion it has just fallen off the wall into the tub. I've tried it on mirrors, metal, and other surfaces also, but nothing works. I have resorted to just keeping it on the side of my tub when i shower. The good part about this speaker is that it's waterproof and shock proof so WHEN it does fall off the wall into the tub, its safe.I do love this speaker though, i just bought another as a gift. The sound is great, lights work great, but hopefully their suction cup works better than mine.

This shower speaker is a fantastic buy for anyone in your life. Its low price does not reflect the quality. It is built strong and durable. I used it every day in the shower and the sound and lights blew me away. The ability to skip the song right from the shower is a godsend. Unfortunately mine stopped working for an unknown reason and after a short exchange with customer support I was able to get a new one sent to me free of charge. The process was easy and quick. The customer support rep was very apologetic, quick to respond, and even let me get the grey one instead of the blue one I had received as a gift. Overall the product is one the best shower speakers I have ever had and I am looking forward to buying them for all my friends as gifts. If your on the fence about buying this product do it you will not be dissappointed.

the number of times that this item has taken a fall and still kept on working without issue continues to rise and that makes it alone worth getting. The waterproof nature of the speaker in relation to the shower is absolute. Also the sound quality is good, only limited by the fact that water can actually muffle the speaker if it is splashed. The speaker travels well so it can be mounted in any hotel to enjoy music while you're on the road. It also pairs easily with any device. You can definitely get a loud room filling sound from the speaker, but in this regard I would definitely only use it as a backup or to protect your good speaker in case of party situation from say beer spills
