The product did what it said it would do, I could convert old tapes to digital format on my computer. I had to noodle with it a bit, and read the directions, but it served its purpose and much cheaper than having it done.

I created digital video files from VHS and 8mm tapes; just used default settings. Software installation could have been more user friendly. In the end I was able to successfully store video files on thumb drives.

My overall rating of 4stars is because it still lacks perfection, but quite good! Picture quality is pretty good - VCR ability has to be considered. So far it has worked flawlessly.

Video would not show in software tool. Had to utilize tv screen to stop and start video. It records good and easy to set up.

The V Top USB Video Grabber is very easy to install and start using out of the box. My family and I were out transferring videos in less than15 minutes after opening the box. For a VHS transfer, the video quality was great, and the software that it came with was fairly simple to use. Overall, we were very pleased and would recommend to others.

The product is pretty good but it took too long to get to me. It was delayed and it set my schedule back.l
