Great Router
This is a great router for SOHO environments. I use it at my home. I'm replacing a Cisco ASA-5505 which is a wonderful product but lacks gigabit. Comcast just upgraded my bandwidth for no reason at all and I decided to go with a gigabit router. It does everything well. The interface is fairly intuitive and the set up is pretty easy if you have some networking knowledge. I set up a VLAN for my guest network without any difficulty. I was able to create one-way traffic to the guest network with a single access rule. I set up an SSL VPN and was able to connect with Cisco AnyConnect on the first try. I haven't tried the other VPN services but since SSL VPN is the most secure, I see no reason to try another. I was amazed how easy it was; no routing tables for the VPN, no static NAT, nothing. The router set those up behind the scene without any need for configuration. If you're looking for features such as VLAN or VPN, this is a great router. If you don't want to spend as much, you may consider RV320/325 as they seem to have a similar specification but lower throughput numbers. A note of caution for the networking novice: the documentation is not geared toward neophytes; it assumes that you have some networking knowledge by virtue of your choice.

Love it, just donโt expect it to be friendly to use for non-network techies
This is a prosumer or pro grade router. Donโt expect it to be easy to use. That said, love it! Does everything we required. Cisco has been pretty diligent with new firmware upgrades. We probably only use 60% of the feature set. VPN Connections into the box are solid. Love it

Great for home/small office
Great functionality for home/small office. Used for temp setup and very flexible, but needs a console and better logging.

Excellent Performance, Terrible Management UI and (Licensing) Support (UPDATED)
UPDATE: Cisco "updated" the software recently and at first I was excited to see a refreshed UI/UX and assumed it was an honest effort to fix the horrible usability issues. Unfortunately, the update is a big disappointment! It may *look* better, but now there are even more UI issues. IP addresses that don't actually sort properly, automatic time settings that are not working, even more workflow inconsistencies. What a mess! Cisco, if you are reading this you should realize how badly represents your once stellar representation of quality and usability. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have this at home with both Comcast XFINITY and ATT U-Verse providing load balanced & auto failover Internet service. The short and sweet is that it works as advertised, performs well with good throughput, and if you keep things incredibly simple you will probably be happy with your purchase. The downside of this product is that the UI/admin experience is horrible. Bizarre conventions, workflow is super odd, and I had to google several different forums to figure out incomprehensible configuration screens. A good example is the interface weighting options for the multi-wan configuration. They are unchangeable until you figure out that you will need to duplicate the precedence number on the interfaces you want to apply weighting to. That's one of about a dozen oddities that I came across that are simply not intuitive. Workflow is terrible... click a box next to the setting, then select to configure, then configure, then save, then save to active config, then save to permanent config. Adding in static DHCP settings exposes a lovely bug... if you add an extra row by accident and then have no additional reservation to make (I had 35 static assignments already entered) you can't back out or save your work. Unless you type in a dummy assignment and save it, then delete it later (which I didn't realize the first time) you lose everything. Yes, I'm complaining but really... Cisco can and should do better. The real disappointment is the AVC web filtering and AnyConnectVPN services. You are instructed to register with Cisco's "Smart Software Licensing", only to find out that once you do it invalidates the licenses immediately for these services and claims you are "out of compliance. NOTHING in the description of this product on Amazon says anything about licenses being time bound, trial, etc. and after an hour of looking around I can't even figure out how I would buy these licenses if I wanted to. Really seems like the product description of these services is misleading at best, but the back end licensing experience and clarity in general if the product UI/UX is terrible.

Great router but requires an expert to setup correctly
Great router but requires an expert to setup correctly I use 3 of these to interconnect my sites that are located in different parts of the country, the router requires an expert to setup, I didnโt get it right the first or second time but now I've mastered it. You will have to contact a Cisco re-seller for licenses or purchase from Provantage or CDW. Stay with the firmware it came with but update the security signature. Upgrading the firmware makes it perform terrible.

Excellent
This is a really good product. Cisco provides true routing and networking capabilities in their SMB products. Tired of throwing money away on cheaper products that are really just glorified gateways, don't support VLSM, lack firewall controls and routing of IP networks. This is a cost-effective device and you should upgrade the FW before you begin using it.

Not bad for the price!
I was glad to see an upgraded successor to the RV325 DualWAN I rocked for years. It can be a little slow to boot at power-on, but works well otherwise.

After trying several other brands I finally found this router. I needed a stable trouble free router for my mired network at home and home office (so far 5 desk tops, surveillance cameras and 3 wireless routers). Everything came on line with no additional steps. The unit allows customization, of course. I understand there is a subscription for VPN which I do not need. After fairly routine setup I noted dramatic improvement in my internet speed. The two WANs I have are now working with default (fail over mode) and I have not modified this setting either. I will, in the coming weeks utilize some other features. So far, very satisfied.

This router just works. We had the predessor running for 10+ years without any problems. This upgraded new model has newer portal with better and new features. We love this new router.

Easy to setup if youโre not intending to use VPN. Will combine two internet connections using multi-wan load balancing that has doubled our download and upload bandwidth using two DSL connections from two separate ISPโs. VPN not so easy to configure and make successful connections. Lots of trial and error here. Solid firewall. Need to purchase Cisco licensing if you want to use the built in filtering, malware protection and IPS. Supports Cisco Umbrella which is a robust DNS filter. Easily handles more than 20 simultaneous Remote Desktop connections for a small office.

Replaced the RV325, a few features missing in the setup such as blocking out, unknow MAC addresses, however that said much faster than the RV325.

I ordered this unit to by pass the Bell Hub3000 modem. I could not get this to work no matter what and had to return it. I had to spend hours online to tech support and in the end returned the product as they suspected it might be faulty (rattled inside). I the end I went with the TPlink TL-R600VPN which was up and running in an hour.
