Item was as described the only issue I'm assuming in shipping where the handle got broken I was able to glue it back on and it's okay now in the future pack your breakable is a little better

The thing about this bowl is that it looks like it came from the 80's. I guess it is that bit of nostalgia that makes the soup taste the way that it does.Delivery: Bowl arrived intact and without cracks.Function: Placed hot French Onion soup in bowl. Topped with bread and Emmental cheese and placed under the Broiler. No cracks able to withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees.Cleaning: Would not recommend a dishwasher. Best to hand clean, especially if cleaning off baked on cheese.The bowls fill a niche and are really only used for special occasions. But they fulfill the need adequately for which they are used. Yes, I could order Le Creuset cookware and pay more of a premium, but for immediate needs the Fox Run product fits the bill.

We were shocked we paid so much for only ONE French Onion Soup Bowl. It was my mistake I didn’t catch that it was only ONE bowl but gosh to pay so much for so little was quite the shock not to mention who on earth would only make ONE bowl of French Onion Soup? The bowl appeared to be sturdy but we returned it as we need a set of bowls not a single bowl.

I am writing this review as a courtesy to other Amazon Customers. This is a Single Bowl and is NOT a "set of two" (as claimed in another customer review).I am not an expert on bakeware, but the bowl itself seems like it is of good quality.However, 10oz is very small for a soup bowl and I would strongly suggest getting a 16 Oz bowl for much greater versatility.And buying a set would be a much better value.

To me the 'French' in French Onion Soup means with melted cheese on top. Otherwise it is just Onion Soup. This is not easy to do with just any soup bowl since a) the melted cheese should cling (attach itself) to the sides of the bowl and b) since the last step is baking the soup in the bowl in the oven, a handle is really necessary. This bowl is the right size and shape. I was doubtfull when ordering because of the low price but both bowls (came as a set of two) were perfect. I wasn't too interested in the bowls having lids but they are a nice addition to keep the soup hot from serving until eaten and helps keep the cheese melted. I recommend this set.

Product is great for any kind of soup. The top makes it easy to keep soup warm.

Lovely and useful. My 89-year-old Dad uses it to microwave his soup lunches. The bowl makes even canned soups or leftovers look attractive, the lid prevents (most) microwave blowouts, and the handle makes it easy for him to lift. A nice gift for elderly people!

I use this as a butter dish and love it.

All orders placed for various products were cancelled by seller as each of them were found to be defective. It is very strange that this should happen for every order placed with this seller. Very disappointing indeed!

Purchased 6 bowls and two arrived completely broken!!! Not very sturdy packaging or handling, very disappointed

When I received this product it was smashed into pieces .I tried to forward the label so I could return product and it wont allow me to forward label.very very unhappy with this purchase

En moins de 24h deux et tous les deux cassés dans l'emballage. Bien jolie sur la photos mais je ne recommande pas.
