The book is a compilation of transcripts from talks Steiner gave which are solely of, or touch upon the subject of color from a metaphsycal / rc perspective. There are some really wild ideas in here, but the thoughts are not necessary continuous as they are broken up over several lectures.As expected, Steiner’s dialogue is rather dense and will have you scratching your head every once and a whole, but for the most part it is not entirely unreadable. As far as difficulty I would give it a 7/10. Has some fun experiments and food for thought for any artist reading through this work.

I highly recommend these lectures. If your at a point of spritual awakening, sit back and absorb this book. It will unlock your mind with the right focus. This was my first book regarding these topics, but i believe my interest has only began.

Very nice publication. Book on COLOR is without color plates !? There are some pictures suggesting what the COLOR TEXTURE in the picture ought to be without BOTHERING to SHOW it FOR REAL.

Truly a unique book about color to supplement our very thin understanding from physics. If you want to approach color from it's meaning perspective, this is a great starting point.

I have enjoyed most of Rudolph Steiner's books, however this is mostly pyscho babble.

A difficult book to get into but VERY interesting. An unusual viewpoint on colour and what is means and how we see it.
