Im just getting started with this thing and there’s still so many features to check out! It’s great for measuring everything! The green laser line helps so much when im trying to find the starting point to measure from and the fact that it has a manual tape measure in it is perfect. It auto retracts so no risk of getting sliced. The measurements so far are spot on and easy to turn on and use. I lended it to my mom who is remodeling her kitchen and now she wont give it back! She has rheumatoid arthritis and is still able to hold it and use it a ton, but it is gonna be heavier than a basic tape measure because of all it can do. The handle is easy for gripping and it just feels like a top of the line product.There isnt anything this thing wont measure! We’ve used it a ton for the last few months and it’s still going strong… very durable. The price is high but it’s definitely worth investing in for the long run! You wont be sorry. There are much more features to review but I haven’t gotten thru them all yet lol but im confident they’ll work just fine.

This is a great product with many functions. You just gotta learn how to use them all.

I bought this tape measure about a year ago. There are some aspects of it that I really like there are some aspects that could be better, and there is one part that I very much can’t deal with. Likes: it’s sturdy, the digital Ridout is clear and accurate, I very much like having the down pointing laser to show where the marking should be. Dislikes: My real gripe is that the digital readout is not particularly accurate. At first, it seemed accurate, but that accuracy has degraded overtime. They have calibration feature, but even doing that doesn’t seem to solve the problem. now I can take the same measurement two or three times and it’s not the same. Switching between metric versus imperial takes a number of button clicks, I wish that were easier. The hook on the end of the tape measure does not extend beyond the bottom of the tape measure meaning it is not easy to operate with a single hand. It’s nearly impossible to use for small measurements. Anything under an inch and a half you have to use the actual tape and that defeats the purpose of having this big giant tape measure. Because the marking line I eat, the laser is about an eighth of an inch in front of the tape measure housing. You can’t just pull the measure down and then let it collapse in until it hits the work piece edge, instead you have to carefully figure out where the laser hits on the edge of the work piece. If all you’re doing is stuff that requires eighth of an inch work that’s fine, but I do furniture making, and this is just not good.

Accurate and easy to use. Battery still has charge after a full dat of use. Measure with tape and read screen to confirm. Draw back is the tape needs another 5 feet.

Ended up returning, I suck at reading a tape measure and wanted something more accurate and precise. This was not that, on multiple occasions I measured with the back of device and it gave a different result than a standard tape. The green line is too wide, so you can't reliably use it. The end of the tape is also difficult to grab. It doesn't give you much to grab ahold of to pull it out.

The ACEGMET DTX10 DIgital Tape Measure looks and feels like a quality built tool and feels sturdy in the hand. It has a bit more weight than a normal traditional tape measure, which actually makes it feel durable but also a bit bulkier when carrying it around. You can take both laser or tape measurements with the results coming up on the easy to read digital display. It saves time since you don’t have to squint at the markings or bend down awkwardly to confirm a number. The tape extends to 12ft while the laser measure is good for up to 330ft. The auto lock works reliably, and the green laser level is useful for lining things up without having to use a level after making your measurements. Charging with USB-C is convenient, and the swappable battery is a nice touch since you’re not stuck waiting if the battery runs low. That said, the battery life is excellent and there is an indicator telling you how much juice you have left so no surprises with a dead unit when you need it. In everyday use, it’s accurate for both home D.I.Y. projects as well as professional tradesmen. It's loaded with features and modes that are handy in various situations. The incremental measurement feature helps when you’re adding multiple measurements together, you can set the laser reference point to the back of the unit to allow for exact measurements wall to wall or within a drawer or cavity, a volume mode that calculates automatically after taking the measurements of a box, and you can set the unit of measurements from various metric or imperial units. It even allows you to store and share the measurements to a tablet, laptop or phone. It's an amazing device loaded with capabilities which means at first it's not as easy as grabbing a basic tape measure, all the functions and features means there's a small learning curve at first beyond taking simple measurements but it's worth taking the time to learn everything it can do to fully take advantage of all the features. The size might not appeal to someone who prefers compact tools but once you get used to all the features, the usefulness makes up for the size. Overall, it’s a great measuring tool that goes above and beyond taking simple measurements. It's well built, versatile and lets you set it up exactly how it's best for you. It seems built to last and has worked flawlessly so far so I would recommend it.

Very cool and interesting tool by ACEGMET. I'm already a fan of their rangefinders so, I was excited to get this digital tape measure. Likes for this product: 1. BIG BUTTONS! 2. Quick and responsive UI. Not much lag. decent processing power. 3. 2-3 button presses to change units, settings, etc. Menu is straight forward and easy to navigate. 4. Measurement saving data. I can't thank you enough for adding this feature. 5. Laser distance measuring. Make me even lazier. I love it! 6. Multiple measuring tools makes for simple math to be even more simple!! Dislikes for this product: 1. Charge time takes an hour and a half from low to full. That seems a bit too long. Cable is also too short. Needed to invest in a longer cable for the worksite. 2. See images below; the lip is too shallow and falls off what I'm measuring while I have the tape measure sitting flat. After about a month of usage, this flaw has become more and more frustrating. 3. Some people may disagree, however, I feel like the display should be auto rotate. not a setting change. In the middle of a measurement, I find myself reading the tape instead of the display because I don't want to spend 5 seconds to go through the settings to change the display orientation. 4. Charging LED is too dim and I can't tell weather the charging is complete unless I remove the surrounding light. Great product. It has been much more of a help for me, than a nuisance. I highly recommend!!
