I have tried other brands that were milled to such a fine texture that the flour would fly out in a dusty cloud when the bag was opened. I have to say that this may be the best chickpea flour that I have tried and I have tried many. I make chickpea tofu every week and it sets perfectly and tastes great. I am glad to support your business and I thank you for a great "clean" product.

LOVE this flour!! It’s the perfect texture for my falafels and as a gluten free substitute for breading chicken, air fried veggies and making countless meals. I like the fact that it’s an organic quality product without glyphosate residue and a much healthier option for my family. Palouse lentils, split peas, and other products are staples in my pantry!

Be aware that this product is not gluten free. It is washed in a facility that washes wheat. I cannot comment on taste or texture as, once I read the actual packaging, I did not feel safe trying the product. I don’t want to give a bad review, but I’m giving 4 stars because I felt the description was misleading. I bought this thinking it was gluten free. It may work for many people who do not have celiac or severe wheat allergies, but not everyone.

After trying to find chickpea flour ant a few stores and finding it out of stock or possibly imported, I once again turned to Palouse for the win. I live near the Palouse, which is where these products are cultivated, so it feels local. I have bought other beans and grains from this brand and all have been of great taste and quality. The price on this chickpea flour is right. I use it in various things that I cook, especially in my homemade pizza dough, as it ups the protein and fiber content, as well as giving a nutty flavor. Bonus: it was delivered within 24 hours of ordering!

This product was AWFUL! This is not a flour but a meal, it is texture of course ground cornmeal. That alone makes it unusable as a flour. The taste is off. I don't know if it is because it is so course it doesn't cook the same or it is bad but the taste is awful. I do not recommend this product to anyone, especially if you are looking for a flour. I wish I could get my money back because $13 is a lot of money for a grocery item.
