Sharp blades and with some time, perfect tools for the price.
The spoke shave works great! My only recommendation would be to sand the bottom of it until the paint is off. Lot of paint transfer during first use. That's my only Con. It came sharp and it's easy to use and adjust. The planer it came with took lots of adjustments before I got to what I wanted but the blade is sharp.

Good spokeshave, unusable plane
The spokeshave is good enough and does the job. It requires some setting up initially, as mine didn’t have a flatbread sole due to the paint having small “bumps”. No big deal, just need to sand it flat. The blade came fairly sharp, was easy to hone to a really sharp edge, and holds an edge for long enough. Got very good results carving low radius curves and tool handles. Higher radius curves would require a round bottom spokeshave so this is something to consider before buying. The plane on the other hand is totally unusable. The mouth is way too big. The wedge is made of light material (not solid wood), does not stay in place (meaning the blade is not held in place either), and gets very easily and heavily dented with the slighted hammering.

The plane is disappointing
The angle of surface the iron rests against isn't square. It results in the iron coming out at an angle which will gouge the surface being planed. You might be able to square it up with some effort. But, I'm not sure it's worth it. I'll update my review after I've had a chance to check out the spoke shave

Wood working tools
The spoke shave is a good value for the money, and provides good two handed control. Great for quickly shaving where a small plain can block your view.

HORRIBLE
This is NOT a spokeshave thats even usable. The bottom is so full of paint that its not close to flat, the blade isnt cut straight and the adjustable screws DONT ADJUST!! This thing is absolutely useless and getting sent back

Excellent as your first spokeshave.
This is a great tool! Works very well and is a pleasure.

Dangerous toys
I gave it two stars because of the price point. For that price, I'll use the knives and throw away the rest. These should not be confused with actual woodworking tools. The planer is near impossible to adjust and equally as impossible to hold. The spokeshave is easier to adjust, but does not track correctly because the plane is not flat, causing it to rock left to right. There's no way to get an even surface. Now, I can't say they're all like that, but describes the ones I received. I have no others to compare with, and will totally not buy another set just to appease my curiosity! :)

As expected for price. Decent quality, bad finish tho, needed some adjustments
Decent for the price. My main complaint is that the adjustment knobs didn't work because of large burrs on the brass. I knocked them off with a file, and it works fine now. The bottom of the spoke shave has specks of paint chunks or something, so I took a second to flatten that. Blade is sharp enough to start using, right away l, but I would sharpen it. They may have ruined the temper on the blade when grinding tho, I will update if I have to re-temper it.All in all I'm not displeased. I expected to have to make some modifications with it considering the price. It's sturdy enough that I don't worry about breaking it, that's what I was hoping for the most. The plane is even usable out of the box, obviously I would sharpen it better, but it took some decent shavings without it. No other adjustment was needed once the blade was seated properly.
