Some practice spaces have great natural acoustics and reverb. My space does not. Hanging just a single layer of blankets from the ceiling-down cut out all of the annoying ring. I was able to hang these up on the parallel walls of my band space to tame the sproingy, reflective, noisy interference. Made a big difference. I hung them up using a brass grommet kit (punching holes into the blankets) and some hooks. That way, I can take them down if needed.I would say this is about 4x as effective as foam squares. Especially for the highs and high mids. I may try to roll a couple up and use them in the corners as bass traps next.These legitimately weighed 70lbs per dozen and had consistent quality per blanket.

I put grommets in these and hung them on the walls of my home studio for sound proofing / treatment. They are very heavy duty, very thick. I washed them all multiple times, and only once did I notice any ink bleed in the dryer and it was minimal and wiped out easy. Still I wouldnt wash these with other items, but they wont ruin your washer / dryer and generally wont bleed ink onto you. They work very well as soundproofing, and work very well for moving furniture too, or even as a blanket to sit on at a picnic or the beach - Ive used leftovers for all these things.

These are great for protecting and covering or concealing items when you travel; or throw it down on the garage floor or the grass, when you need some padding; My favorite use is as an under-car floor-cover when I am working on the car or truck; I have not laundered a moving blanket before, but I think it can be done on very very gentle cycle and line-dry. I would not try normal wash-cycle or normal dry tumble with these, myself. Otherwise, they seem protective and durable sufficiently as to meet my requirements for ocassional use in the shop or in the car/truck.

I bought 3 dozen. Excellent Quality, feel & look much more expensive. The professional movers couldn't believe how much I paid for them, they were much better than theirs. They even wanted to buy them from me.

Best moving blankets we have ever bought, Highly recommend these moving blankets. They are thick enough to pad anything from mountain bikes to furniture, but not at all cumbersome. Excellent quality! Love this product and will buy again in the future

Positive : The blankets arrived fast. Good communication from the seller about having to ship in multiple boxes.Negative : I washed the blankets once I received them in cold water for 15 mins. to thicken and refresh them straight out of the packaging. THE DYE RUNS AND STAINED MY DRYER!! The inside of my washer is dark so I didn’t notice. Now I’m concerned with putting them directly on my wood furniture. I’ll have to find something to cover the furniture under the blankets — especially since it can rain at any moment and get the blankets wet.

These blankets are tough and smooth. very affordable price after checking Uhaul and all the moving companies. We will defintly use them in the future.
