But paperwork says lance hasnt got batteries.How can you check for batteries then

Hi, this is the trigger gun. Not the lance. The gun has 2 AA batteries. You push the yellow button in and lift the top cover to find the batteries. Just change them and it will work if your batteries are flat. Nigel.

Will this work with the new model k5 pressure washer

I purchased this as a replacement for my K5 full control plus jet washer

Will this make my foam gun work without pulsating because it seems my K7 is too powerful?

The issue is not the K7 I found some of the third party foam guns despite them stating they are compatable with Karcher lances they are not. You need to check the adapter on the foam dispenser against the control plus lance. I found slight difference and had alsorts of issues. It damaged the lance but luckily I managed to get another at a reasonable cost. I made a few slight repairs to the old one and keep that one for using with the foam gun. The spare I only use for Karcher products. It might be worth you doing the same. The foam guns lugs I think are exactly the same but I think the neck was slightly longer and it displaced a washer and spring so if I use the old control handle with the lance it leaks slightly and is more prone to pulsing. Pulsing is cause by trapped air in the hose but can also because by introducing air at the lance/control handle because of the description I already gave (i.e. it now doesn't quite seal right with Karcher lance). Worth in future checking foam gun lug dimesions against Karcher equipment before trying to use them. DON'T ASSUME BECAUSE A THIRD PARTY SAYS THEY ARE COMPATIBLE DOESN'T MEAN IT IS! see less

Perfect replacement. 👌🏻

Direct replacement for my aging Karcher K7 full control premium pressure washer trigger gun. Bought via the “save on used” option and it was like brand new, just without the box. Works perfectly and has cured the irritating leak I was getting from the original lance trigger handle!
