This cable solves every possible problem you could have. Need something low profile so you can put furniture right up against it? No problem. But wait, the power outlet behind this desk is at a funny angle and I can't face it the right way! No problem. The 360 degree low profile plug takes up the minimum possible space. It can easily be located side-by-side with multiple other plugs on a power strip or in a tight space. And you can rotate it to any arbitrary position which can be crucial in a tight space. The rubber sheathing is sturdy and robust despite being flexible. If you need to snake this through a narrow space with tight bends you won't compromise the cable. And finally, the three outlets on the far end are spaced such that you can put two beefy AC-DC power supplies next to each other without contortions. And the third outlet on the reverse side is great if you have some behemoth that won't gracefully plug in. This cable solves problems at both ends in novel and useful ways and is also three-prong. It's not for heavy duty applications. Perfect for office / home / basement / storage use. It’s an extension cord. When you need one- well- you need one. What makes this different- the prongs rotate allowing one to have the head go into the outlet just the way you want or need it to. Plus- the head is flat and looks neater and nicer. I would buy this again.

I installed an under-the-cabinet light next to my refrigerator before I thought about how close the back of the refrigerator was to the outlet. The 3-prong plug for the light was just too long to plug directly into the outlet, which, as I read reviews, seems to be an all-to-common. I recalled seeing extension cord with plugs that stuck out a half-inch or so from the wall, which led me to search Amazon, where I found the Maximm Cable right angle extension cords. Three bonuses: the 360° rotating plug, which works well; the 24 inch length instead of having to buy a much longer cord (Maximm does make several lengths btw); and the white color to match the color of the cabinet light cord (they also make black). The price is slightly higher than I thought it should be, but in comparison to similar cords from other sources (the big-box DIY stores), the cost was still reasonable. I found some of the negative reviews regarding over-heating of the plug and cord to be disquieting, but a couple of weeks in now, and there have been no problems especially given that it is only for an LED light. Delivery (Prime) came ahead of the estimate. I will update if there are any problems. For now, however, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another or recommend the product to friends, family, or total strangers!

Love the rotation part. Is connected to appliance above the plug so that was most important feature for me. Regular plugs point down/straight out and have to be looped up - what a mess of wire where you're trying to work. Or I'd have to remove and flip the outlet - what a pain.
