Worked well for 4 months then failed. Genuine Apple cable working fine after 1 year.

Got to use this cable twice. I smelled that smell like something electrical is burning which caused me to look at my phone. The cord was smoking where the connector plugged into my phone and I could see the plastic melting. I've used the same charger with an apple cable for over a year with no problem. Shame on me for buying this cheap cable.

Love this cord. I have androids and cords for them and with the color of this cord, I can easily find my iPhone cord. It works in my Apple charger as well as my more generic home and car chargers.

Broke after a couple of months. The charger worked at first but then quit charging unexpectedly on vacation.

Garbage... iPhone and iPad Air wont recognize this as compatible... waste of money.
