1 X Mira Everclear Showerhead Chrome

This was recommended by my electrician as we were having problems with fluctuating temperatures in the shower. He removed the previous shower head and found that there was a lot of limescale coming through the hose, this being a hard water area. Since replacing the shower head with the Mira Everclear, we have had no further problems.

I have an *extremely* hard water supply where I live. When I moved in I quickly found that the shower was really dreadful. I was not at all impressed as very little of the water was actually traveling in a downwards direction. Cleaning did not work.When I came across the description for this little beauty, I thought; "now that's *exactly* the sort of thing I need. A shower head with little pins to poke out the bits so I don't have to"so I bought it straight away.The first shower was amazing. All the water was directed in the same direction (downwards) and a huge volume of water was coming out, amazing! By the third shower, however, the water was pouring out in a sheet around the sides - my problem had come back.I was ready to call it quits and change shower head again, BUT, I decided I would clean it out. This is where the magic happened. This shower head comes apart, almost completely. You can even push the 'holes' section apart from the 'backplate/pins' section (this is how the pins work) and then you can shake out all the bits. FANTASTIC! On no other shower head could I do this. I have to say I got about 1/3 teaspoon of hard scale out that first time. Now it is part of the routine. Every third shower I take it apart completely, give it a good shake and get 1/4 - 1/3 tsp scale then I have an amazing shower.Over a month, and many showers later - very impressed.The only downside is that - on a 9kW electric shower - it is not, and cannot be, a power shower. The holes are too wide and too uniform. (Apparently, you're not supposed to use it on electric showers but hey, it works for me and is the ONLY thing that works).Otherwise it is fantastic.

Unfortunately not for us leaks around sides unless centre plate is pushed up and down when shower is first activated.not much water pressure created by jets-seemed a good invention.Glad was a discounted product as no longer using it

Purchased following advice from Mira Technical Team. Advised that a Mira shower must have a Mira showerhead, trouble is I live in hard water area. Researched on line and decided to purchase this head as it is supposed to cope well with hard water.So far so good, much cheaper than a new shower. Reasonably early days hence why I have given 4 not 5 stars

it came in good time looks good but after using it i find the pin action to clean the shower head not to be as good as i expected it to be

I've been looking for 12months now for a better showerhead with just one setting and none of this 4 functions so after fitting a Triton - Aspirante 9.5kw Electric Shower.i was on look out.i was in a hotel at weekend.they had mira shower head.i know it be power shower.but it was fab.so I came across this one read all reviews.we have good water pressure at ares with cold water tank in loaft.there was two at a price.a £9 and £57 I got cheaper one same spec as each other.ive tried it and wow it's fantastic.it does what it's says.plus a spare showerhead.so thumbs up.

Owned this for more than a year. As a shower head it functions perfectly, however it still collects limescale like everything else in our area.

Arrived quickly, looks good for the money. This is a spare for replacement so not fitted yet but i do not expect problems from Mira
