Will this wirk with a Yamaha p120

Yes, but you won't get the "half-damper" feature that the Yamaha P120 supports. (With a real piano or a digital piano that supports half-damper, if you release the pedal partway, it dampens the sounds a bit but doesn't kill it completely.) To get half-damper capability use a pedal like the Yamaha FC3A.
