May have smaller capacity than advertised.
Either the one I received was defective or it wasn't really an 18000 mAh battery bank. I fully charged it and then was able to charge a fire 10hd (less than 4000 mAh) and a small fire 7. After charging both this was completely depleted. I have a 20000 mAh Anker battery bank that would have been able to charge at least double this before being anywhere close to depleted.I also tried using it to jump start a Honda Odyssey minivan. It was fully charged. It didn't work on the first try. It did work after 4 tries but the meter was reading one out of four lights after that. It did not heat up while doing this which is surprising. I would have expected some heat if it fully depleted 18000 mah in the 3-4 minutes I was using it to jump the van.I returned mine to Amazon because it didn't meet my expectations.

BUYER BEWARE - Fraudulent mAh Capacity advertised for jumper
Remove two screws and slide off the case. The battery is plainly marked 55.5Wh and 11.1V. Use any conversion calculator and find the true capacity of this unit is 5000mAh, NOT 18,000mAh as advertised. That is only 28% of the advertised jumper capacity. Used it to charge a small tablet which was at 60% charge, and the unit was left HALF EMPTY (obvious proof it is not the rated capacity). Vendor did not respond to my request for an explanation.3/14/19 update: after posting this the vendor replied chastising me for opening the case, then offered this nonsensical explanation of their rated capacity. And I quote:"11.1V Minimum Use Voltage55.5Wh/3.2V=17.34Ah(Lithium iron phosphate is 3.2V)17.34*1000=17340mAh"1. "Lithum iron phosphate is 3.2V"...yeah, so what? The denominator is the voltage IN USE (which they note is 11.1v). The lowest rated use is 5V to charge a phone. Total non-sequitur. They advertise as a jump starter first (12V), a bank (5V) second.2. The jump starter uses 12V therefore 55.5/12*1000= 4625mAh (11.1 nominal is actually used and yields 5000mAh).3. Finally, I originally omitted that the jumper cable electronics also did not work. They requested demonstration videos and provided a non-Amazon email address to send the videos (also used this email to send the misleading explanation to avoid Amazon awareness). Their suggested resolution was for me to buy a complete replacement for $19. Ever had a company offer a solution to a defective $5 part by suggesting you buy another complete unit? IMO the $19 is the probable actual value of this unit.4. I used replacement cables and the lipo puffed up (safety issue). Of course it did, it is not the capacity they advertise and so my hard-starting 5.8 litre engine ate it up.5. I returned the unit.

Try it before you need it to make sure it works properly
I got this to keep on My motorcycle so I wouldn't have to worry about being stranded if my battery died. I tried to use it a few days after I received it. The jump start feature did not function.

Got this at a great price.
Look good not going to use them till I have to then cross my fingers and hope they work. If they work as good as they look I will be in luck.

I'm never stranded with a dead battery when I have the jump start kit on the road with us!
I like the unit and it's accessories. The LED light doesn't work although the emergency flashing lights do. The power pack is strong and charges quickly as well as jump starting vehicles right up.

Saved me from being stranded
This product has saved me a few times from being stranded in the middle of nowhere. Keep it charged and it will keep you from being stranded if your car battery dies. Nice tool for charging your phones, laptops or iPads while travelling. Well worth the money for a little piece of mind.
