Q: What type of sugar does it use?

You can use normal granulated sugar as well as the posh different colour and flavour stuff you can buy online. Hope this helps. Take care from Amanda.

just like the previous said. place big red bit over machine and twist it till it clicks, place clear bit on that. place black bit in centre over silver bit and turn on , when it has heated up turn it off. then add sugar to black bit, turn on.the machine will heat up and spin and you will see the sugar webbing in it.get a stick and let it attach itself to it. just like the fair ground days.the machine will get hot so keep the little ones away.dont get me wrong but it is not a toy. hope this helps and your machine is the same colour as mine

Q: Does this come with uk plug

It does, it’s quite a good gizmo once you get the hang of it. Bought a couple of years ago, we still use it occasionally.

I would contact the supplier for a refund. Mine came with standard uk 3 pin plug.
