Noir: Three Novels of Suspense

The greatly missed genius that is Richard Matheson is well represented in this collection. If you enjoy well written tales that will stay with you long after you close the last page read this man's work.This book is an excellent sampler and I am sure you will not be disappointed!

This is an excellent set of short stories from an excellent writer. I loved 'I am legend' and was eager to get stuck into this one.The tone of these stories is exactly what the title suggests - dark and suspenseful! They read like an Alfred Hitchcock thriller, starring Cary Grant - you can just imagine it!Each story is simple and straight forward- there are no twists to the plot, no unusual happenings, just plain, good old fashioned story-telling, the way it should be. I thoroughly enjoyed them all.
