160 or 200 mg per 4 pills? The photos contradict each other.

Editinhg my answer: true, the larger bottle (90 capsules) I got now for the first time shows only 160 mg/capsule. I always got the 45 capsules before, and those were 200 mg/capsule. Wondering if they just changed the strength in the new lots produced. But it is tricky and not-so-German I might say, to "sneak" the change, while at the same time increasing the price...

Why is there Shellac in there?

Shellac is an "enteric coating". It does not dissolve in the stomach, but does dissolve in the small intestines. This may be used to protect medicines that would be destroyed by stomach acid. Or to protect the stomach from medicines that would damage it. Or to provide time release dosing by varying the thickness or type or enteric coating. Or to increase effectiveness of medicines that work best when absorbed via the small intestines. I would guess the last option in this case.
