BioBag 100% Certified Compostable Resealable Food Storage Bags, 180 Count, Gallon, Perfect for Refrigerator or Freezer

I am so grateful for these gallon-size bags. For things which leave the house I now only use these bags and am able to feel better about not adding to the plastic pile-up. I primarily use silicone bags for things in the house, but I've used these bags in the freezer to hold cookie dough, bagels, etc., with no problems. They are very easy to write on, too. Highly recommend.

I bought a Lomi and these bags were recommended since they are biodegradable and can be put in the Lomi to decompose. They don't, at least not completely. After a Lomi cycle you can see pieces of green floating about, but the bags break down enough that they probably would decompose in a landfill quicker than if they were whole bags. The "zipper" on the bag is difficult to grasp and opening them is a struggle. Had they been equipped with the actual zipper "pull" like on other bags, using them might be nicer. I recycle as much as possible and bought a lot of these bags, so I'm still on the fence as to whether I will buy them again.

I really like these. Wonderful to use bags and not feel guilty about putting them in the landfill after a single use.

It is great to have resealable compostable bags, but I can only reseal about 1 out of 10. I just don't have the patience to try and get the "ziplock" to track and close. This works very poorly and greatly needs improvement in this product; this is NOT like regular ziplock bags and just close up.

Very misleading. Only compostable in a special facility. It will not compost in the normal trash. So what is the point?

A pack of 3 or 4, but I don't have room for a crate of these.
