Dax Roots Olive Oil, 7.5 Ounce

I am AA, at the age of 50, and menopausal. I received my items today, very promtly. I had washed my hair about three days ago and my hair was still dry. I have other products in my hair, such as a leave in, and conditioner, and my hair is still dry. I am putting the cream in my hair right now...to get some moisture because when I was fooling with it today...it was breaking due to the dryness. The cream is creamy and thick, but it was cold today. It could be runner if the temperature outside was in its 90's. You don't have to use much of the product, it seems to absorb into the hair very nicely. It has a fruity smell for an olive cream, which is unusual. But I prefer the smell because olive oil products tend to have an odor. I don't believe this is an all natural product because of the fragrance.Ingredients: Water (aqua), Olea Europaea (olive), Fruit Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond Oil) Sorbitan Monostearate, Glycerin, Macodamia Intergrifolia (Seed Oil) Floramac 10, Ethyl Macadamiaate Polysorbate 20, Cetyl Alcohol, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed butter, Garcinia Indica Seed Butter Carbomer, Triethanolamine PEG-150, Distearate, Phenoxyethanal & Benzoic Acid & Dehydroacetic, Acid, Fragrance, Disodum, EDTA, Green 5, Yellow 5.Mostly artificial oils and butters, but I have to say it is very moisturizing. For this not to be natural the product is over priced. I need more than a day to know if it will keep my hair moist. I will do an update later.Update:11/7/2014 This product did not keep my hair moist. My hair was dry the next day. For a product to cost 10.00 dollars for 7 ounces, and it doesn't keep your hair moist. Its overpriced. I can buy products at Wal-Mart or Target and mix them to get the moisture I need and not have to wait a day or two. I purchased this item or product because of a youtuber that has thin, dry hair, and loves the product....but for me it just is not going to get it. Everyone has different hair....due to the results. But, I will not waste it...I will just have to remix it with something to get it to work. And, if I have to do that I will not be repurchasing it. Hope this review will be helpful to someone one else.

This dax roots olive cream is the bomb. It leaves my hair so soft and manageable. It smells great. A little goes a long way. I use this as a daily leave in on wet and dry hair, as well as a styler for my twist outs. The only thing that I do not like about this product is the package is small for the amount of money you pay for the product. Wish I could get some free samples. Thumbs up 4 out of 5 for me. I use this product mainly after washing. It smells great and is good for moderately dry hair. Don't use this if you have pressed your hair. It made my hair puff up and I had to re-straighten my hair.UPDATE: I stopped using this product after my initial review and recently went back to it. I've been doing heatless styles so here's more I noticed. This product clumps (looks like sand) when applying on wet/damp hair. I even used it initially on dry hair then, mist with water, it clumped up. I recently tried it after misting my hair with aloe vera juice and it DIDN'T clump. Not sure if others have this same experience, but be wary of using this product with water in your hair.

This is actually my favorite Dax Roots product. It works the best and have noticed hair growing back on my edges. I put it on my edges before I tie my hair to sleep and I put it in my hair after wash. I do use another product for hold from a different brand and also an olive oil conditioner from a different brand. But when I used this product alone I've noticed that it still helps with strengthening.

I purchased this after I fell in love with DAX Bergamot Butter.To be 100% honest I haven't used this as a leave in after I wash because my hair is braided. ( I don't like a lot of product in my braids)I have used it on my edges and man they are smooth and soft!My boyfriend uses it after he washes and Im guessing he loves it since I almost need a replacement!DAX has made the way to my staples with my hair!

It could be a little less expensive for the amount you get but, other than that, it is lite and smells really good. I wanted something that wasn't heavy and this met my needs.

We love this line for our natural hair. It's light weight and has a nice texture to it. We will be purchasing this again real soon!

The only i don't love is the price. I have natural afro textured hair and it takes a lot of product. So its fairly easy to go through this product but the quality is fantastic. It moisturizes my hair and doesn't weigh it down.

Ich habe von diesem Produkt Schuppen bekommen, da meine Kopfhaut sehr empfindlich ist. Ich benutze eine Pomade von Dax und die ist echt Spitze. Darum wollte ich ein "leichteres" Produkt testen und habe mich für diesen "Leave in Conditioner" entschieden, jedoch ist dieser nichts für mich. In dem Zeitraum indem ich ihn benutzt habe, hat er die Haare schön glänzend gemacht und das ohne zu beschweren.

Super Haarpflege! Macht seidigen Glanz, gerade bei längeren Haaren eine super Alltagsalternative zu Pomaden. Klasse Produkt! Werde mir noch die Bergamotte- Version holen!
