Very pleased
Excellent for the price. I'm using it on my Sony A7 ii with a Commlite Adapter. Manual focus and zoom work fine. Auto focus and zoom more tricky. But overall, I'm happy with it, the picture quality is good. I'm not a professional photographer, however, I'm very pleased with this purchase. The more I use it, the more I appreciate the engineering, design and craftsmanship which went into this lens. It maybe "old tech" but it is actually more advanced than many, more expensive lenses out there.

Amazing quality at a low price!
Really happy that it fit's my Canon Eos M100 mirrorless camera using a focal reducing adaptor also found on amazon, the lens is brilliant to use and I can already see a massive difference in image quality, before I was using a 55- 250 which was good, but nowhere near as good as this one, with extra control over the fine focus it is so much better than I expected!

Fantastic starter lens.
At first, I was suspicious of the low price but I gave it a go and boy I was NOT disappointed.I am using a Canon 80d and wanted a lens that would be good for sports photography and this little number does the trick. I am not a professional photographer; more intermediate. I found the lens to be very suitable for my needs. The price is awesome for the quality you get. I am well-pleased with the product.Arrived earlier than anticipated. Wonderful packaging and so far I've taken around 1000 photos with the lens. Thanks for a great product at an affordable price.

Good quality zoom lens at reasonable price
Fits perfectly as I was looking for a lens with extra zoom in addition to my kit lens on Canon 650D.If you are going to use it for cameras with APSC sensors, do understand the crop factor before buying this lens. Same with any EF lenses..Slightly struggle to auto focus on the close range but then should swap the lens to 18-55..there is no image stabilisation so camera shake is an issue esp on low light.

Really good affordable zoom lens
I bought this for my Canon EOS 4000d and I'm really pleased with it. My camera came with a starter lens but I wanted a better zoom for photographing birds and wildlife and this is ideal for that purpose. If you are a very serious wildlife photographer I'm sure you'll want a more powerful zoom than this but the picture quality is excellent and it's great for snapping birds, deer etc while out on a walk or even just for getting great, high quality close-ups of birds in your garden that you just can't quite get with a compact camera zoom.

The quality is in the name.
This lens is used mostly for wildlife photography. A good telephoto length lens with a quiet zoom and sharp pictures. It will focus down to 5ft for those close up shots. A good quality lens at a very good price, all you would expect with the name Cannon on the front.

Excellent for the price.
Bought this to go with a new camera kit I got as a gift. Really well made and takes excellent photos. Used for family photos, sporting events and landscapes as hobby photographer and photos were better than expected for price paid.

Average
I have an equal amount of positives than I do negatives so it is somewhat difficult to give a straight forward review on the product however I’ll give my points and let people decide if it’s right for them or not. Image quality is okay, not amazing but not bad enough to complain about due to the amount it costs. The biggest downside is the image stabilisation it really does make a difference if you like to hand hold your camera for shots (at 300 anyways) The biggest upside will be the price obviously it is a very good price in comparison to other brands. I would recommend to people who do photography as a hobby and don’t wanna spend ridiculous amounts.
