I recently purchased the VILTROX DC-550 camera monitor and I’m really impressed with its performance. The 5.5-inch IPS screen delivers sharp, clear images with accurate colors, which makes framing and focusing much easier on my Canon R8. It’s bright enough to use outdoors without any issues, and the adjustable brightness settings give me good flexibility depending on the lighting conditions. Installation was straightforward, and the monitor feels solid and durable, especially considering its affordable price point. The built-in histogram, peaking, and exposure assist tools are very handy for ensuring well-exposed shots. Battery life is decent, and the ability to use standard Sony NP-F batteries is a big plus since I already had spares on hand. I can use power bank to power camera from USB-C port. Overall, the VILTROX DC-550 is an excellent budget-friendly option for anyone looking to upgrade their camera setup with an external monitor. Only one minus, it doesn't come with HDMI to Micro HDMI cable. Highly recommended!

I’m so impressed with the enormous amount of tech in this tiny, light monitor. From the focus assist and false colors to the hdmi pass through, these are features that used to be reserved for much higher priced pro equipment. It’s amazing the value we’re getting these days with the current crop of video tools. We are spoiled. And I love it.

This is a very well made monitor. I chose this over another brand because of the cable inputs - they’re on the bottom. I didn’t want cables sticking out the side. The control button on the side provides easy access to menu items. The information it provides and features are invaluable. Just wish Canon made it so one could still have the camera LCD functionality while using an external monitor. Fortunately, whenever I need to make changes to the camera settings I only have to turn off the external monitor (not unplug it) for the camera LCD to come back on. The biggest plus for me is getting clearer shots and better color. This monitor is a great size plus the pop up sun shade helps protect the monitor when not in use and can stay on the monitor (unlike the rigid ones that become just one more thing to haul around). Very Very happy with this purchase.

Great little monitor, colors look good. I do find it’s pretty wiggly, it’s the only thing that moves on my camera Rig. I also keep it plugged into USB-C for power, super annoying though that it will still drain the battery even with a power source plugged in. Not super confident on the screw part on the hinge, I’m sure one day it’s gonna break off since it has a good bit of wobble after about a week of use, but I don’t imagine myself using any other monitor until this one’s dead. Love the built in LUT table as well, great for shooting in V-Log

The Viltrox DC-X2 preview monitor is a very good device that significantly facilitates photography and filming. Its 6-inch IPS screen offers Full HD resolution (1920x1080), provides very good color reproduction and wide viewing angles, which is not without significance, thanks to which it allows me to precisely frame and assess exposure, which is very important in my profession. One of the main advantages of the monitor is the impressive brightness of 2000 nits, which allows comfortable work even in bright daylight. Moonitor supports HDMI inputs, thanks to which you can connect it to a wide range of cameras and cameras. The possibility of powering it with NP-F batteries or an external power source makes it an ideal solution for field work. And I would forget that the USB interface supports importing 3DLut files. If anyone doesn't know what 3DLut is, I'd like to remind you that Importing a 3D LUT (Look-Up Table) in DaVinci Resolve is a feature that allows users to apply predefined or custom color grading to video footage. I highly recommend it. I don't know what to say? On the one hand, great product, but the people selling it didn't rise to the occasion First, the Tector box was open and the entire monitor was shown in a package that didn't even have a zipper. Considering the patronizing and pushing a previously used product on me without informing me and only looking out for their own interests, I can't give it more than 3 stars alley just because I didn't get a new product
