Well designed. Less well constructed
I like how the pages are laid out. The bookmarks keep falling out. Have lost 3 of 3 in first two weeks. Also corner of book minorly damaged in shipping. It is 6 months but you fill in the days so it lasts longer if you don't use for weekends.

This planner is an absolute WINNER.
First off; let me confess. I am an absolute planner & notebook addict. I cannot walk into a department store & leave without a notebook. That being said, I am a complete snob & very picky with said planners. While I don't mind an inspirational quote or interesting planning system, I HATE when a planner is littered with quotes or has a system that totally dictates how I use the planner. I need it to have just enough structure to help me stay organized, while leaving me with the freedom to use it as I see fit.I was looking for a planner to replace my BlueSky Day Designer, which I absolutely loved. My only problem with it was that although I use my planner tons, there were gaps here & there where I had skipped weeks because I was super busy/holidays/kids were sick etc. I found it extremely frustrating to have so many empty pages that I couldn't use- especially when I had to leaf back & forth when I started scheduling my day again.I was excited to find this planner for a few reasons:* It's NON DATED, but still amazingly structured!!! Like I mentioned before, I feel that planners need enough structure, otherwise they don't give me enough organization.* Excellent size* I love the Molskine look; I was especially pleased with the 3 bookmarks (vs. the regular one) & the BONUS ELASTIC PEN HOLDER!!! My one pet peeve with Molskine is that they don't have one. After tons of comparing between my current Blue Sky & this (& some others in physical stores), I finally decided to try this. It came as promised, 2 days after ordering, and I'm embarrassed to say how excited I was to see it ;)First impressions from actually holding it in my hands:* Excellent heft- even better than I had expected. Just enough weight, but not too heavy.* I'm a sucker for an elegant notebook & this definitely fits the bill. Embossed logo, dark leather look...It's gorgeous- I cannot wait to stick this in my bag.* Loaded with useful pages- best part is as I said before- I can use them all because they're non-dated.* Monthly pages are spread across two pages, with small areas for goals, reflections & notes. I doubt I'll use anything besides for the calendar there- but that's personal preference.* Weekly pages: these are my FAVORITE! I have never come across this layout in any planner before & I am obsessed. There is a place for reflections of last week -looking at the victories & gratitudes of the past week. Then you go straight into the plans & goals for the week, with delineations for work, social, health, habit & personal. This is an awesome feature. Anyone who is looking to improve anything- better organization, tracking a habit, whatever- knows that this is a key item. Another 2 areas for 'Things I'm excited about' & some top priorities for the week- WHOEVER DESIGNED THIS PAGE IS AN ABSOLUTE GENIUS. This is definitely my favorite selling point of this planner.* Daily: The daily pages are great as well. There's a LOT of room for scheduling- great for someone with lots of appointments. Personally, I have used the Tasks areas more than scheduling areas up to now- although I actually anticipate needing more scheduling this year so I'm excited with this space. There's a gratitude & anticipation area on top that's nice- I don't use it a lot but it's nice to have sometimes when you're feeling overwhelmed with tons of tasks to take a moment to appreciate where you are. I really like the daily mission area; which I also think Mountain Planner has introduced, as I haven't seen that in other planners, as well as the focus & habit track spaces.* Nice amount of notes pages in the end, which I always use for odds & ends- recipes, menus etc. Line spacing & margins are great- another area I am always very picky with.* Pages are a great thickness! I am as obsessive with my pens as I am with my notebooks- I only use a Pilot G-tec C4... & I HATE when the ink bleeds through to the other side of the page. The first thing I tried when I opened my planner was to write on the first page- smooth glide & ZERO show-through. Even my previously beloved Day Designer had not passed that test.* Last thing: this has a really HUGE back pocket, very well constructed with actual linen type paper in the accordion fold. This will not be falling apart any time soon. Roomier than the Molskine pocket. This planner is a winner. All in all, I know I sound like an obsessive nut, going mad over my pretty near PERFECT planner. Maybe I AM nuts. But I sure know my planners. And if your considerations are anything like the ones I listed above, the Mountain Planner is definitely the way to go.

Good Enough
I like the size and weight, and as for planning, I feel like it has everything I need EXCEPT for a seven-day weekly planning layout. I prefer that over the categorized weekly plan, but that isn't the manufacturer's fault. I knew what I was getting. It just doesn't work as well for me. The reason I gave it 3 stars was that the ribbons came out as soon as I opened it. I don't know if the heat in the truck melted the glue during shipping, but it was a bummer and it's a bit of a pain to have to use paper clips to mark things. It's a good little planner if you don't need a traditional weekly and you don't mind the quality issues. It wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back, but I think I'll order a different planner next time.

Elastic does not hold up, but otherwise great
I was disappointed that within 2 weeks, both the elastic that head the pen and the elastic that kept the book closed, both fell completely out of the planner, like the glue was not high quality. The pages themselves are wonderful. I do not have an issue with how the planner is set up. My favorite function of it has to be the hourly breakout for each day. I enjoy having my day planned out and still having room to take action items and reminders.I wish the quality was better, but as a daily planner it does its intended job.

Nice, but not exactly what I was looking for
It's so hard to find exactly what I'm looking for in a planner. I wanted a planner with monthly, weekly, and daily sections, which this has. But I wish the monthly and weekly sections had a little more room for notes. And I don't need the daily gratitudes/anticipations. Just maybe one bigger notes section. But overall it's a nice planner and might work perfectly for someone. The paper is really good quality.

I absolutely LOVE it. I love that the months
I am a bit of a planner addict, I will admit. But the visual spread of my day really can impact how overwhelmed or focused I am. I am currently juggling three jobs as well as recovering from a major injury (broken arm) and life was feeling a little, well, chaotic. I had literally gotten to color coding tasks and times and was whiting out more than I was writing.I switched to this planner from an Organized Life planner, thinking it would be more streamlined. I absolutely LOVE it. I love that the months, weeks and days are separated. I don't feel like I'm flipping through useless stuff to get to what I want. It is really helpful to have my week have separate major goals and to have a mission every day.I can see this being really helpful for anyone in recovery (from anything) who could use a boost in focusing on one day at a time, because of the set up for gratitudes, anticipations, mission, habits. It's really easy to start steady each morning with this and let the big, overwhelming - WTF am I doing with my life? - kind of questions go and just do what needs to be done on each day.

Of all the planners out there, this one fit my needs the most
This is an excellent example of a planner that balances motivation/gratitude and journaling/task management. So far, it has really inspired me to keep it, where blank notebooks have failed. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now, and that is where the one star deduction comes in. The quality of the materials is deceiving. The planner looks and feels very nice, but I can't keep a writing utensil in the attached loop that was provided, as the utensil has caused the paper that the loop is attached behind has started to come apart. Just as well, the elastic loop that keeps the book closed is pinching the soft cardboard of the book cover. Again, I love love love the format of the journal, monthly, weekly, and daily, but I'm just afraid that with the daily use I'm inspired to keep up with, the journal may not be able to keep up with me.
